The Musketeer was mucho lame-o. I watched it with my friends on Friday. The last fight scene, in the "ladder room" is a complete rip-off of a famous Chinese movie called Wong Fei Hung (Once Upon A Time in China in English), and several other Chinese movies. It Hollywood-ified the classic novel, making it completely different from the story. And some parts were plain silly... like when he's climbing up a tower on a rope, and they're sending al these baddies climbing down to meet him and fight with him. Naturally he sends them plummeting to their doom.... but nobody thinks to cut his rope from the safety of the top of the tower...nooo....

So Jay and Silent Bob will probably end up at a little over $30 mil, same as Dogma. Of course, his films tend to sell like crazy when they get on video. So all is well.
