1995 WWF Simulation Help

I know this should go on the Video Game boards and will probably get moved there soon, but I posted this here because it is more wrestling related than game related, and there are more wrestling fans to be found here than over there. (Please excuse that terrible run-on sentence. It's 2:15 in the morning and I have a headache.)

Okay guys... I need help. I've reached a roadblock in my current Extreme Warfare Revenge game (as posted here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38242&highlight=Wrestling) by Dark Spider), and I don't know what to do. Here are my stats:

- It's April 6, 1995, and I am the WWF.

- The "other promotions" are the WCW, ECW, USWA, SMW, and the game-created NYCW. The WCW is my main competition. They make more money than I do, but I routinely cream them in television ratings and pay-per-view buyrates.

- I have three televisions shows, all on the USA network: Monday Night Raw, Thurday Night Rave, and Superstars.

Here are my current feuds: (Faces are listed first)
- Diesel vs. Shawn Michaels
- The Undertaker (/w Paul Bearer) vs. Yokozuna (/w Mr. Fuji)
- Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler

Stuff I have planned:
- Jerry Lawler, my most popular wrestler by far, will turn to help Bret Hart face Chris Benoit and Jeff Jarrett.
- Cactus Jack will turn heel.
- Rob Van Dam and Billy Kidman will feud over the newly created Lightweight Title.
- The Coalition will feud with Sabu and Taz.
- A stable will form consisting of: Jeff Jarrett, Chris Benoit, Chris Kanyon, Billy Kidman, and (once he turns) Cactus Jack.

Stuff I need help with:
- I need a name for the stable described above.
- When The Cactus Jack/Jeff Jarrett feud ends, I plan on filling it with the RVD/Billy Kidman feud described above. The only problem is, I ran of feud spots, and Cactus Jack still holds the Harcore Title. Should I give the title to someone else, or should I insert him into another, pre-existing feud?
- Razor Ramon is on his way out, so I need someone to feud with Owen Hart. I was thinking either Bill Goldberg, Mike Awesome, or Ron Simmons.
- Should I form a face faction to go against my heel one?
- What other talent should I accquire? Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, and Sting all have written contracts with the WCW, so I won't be able to get them unless they either go out of business, they get fired (which rarely happens) or I edit my saved game.
- Any other stuff you guys can think of.

This game is actually going pretty good, and your help is greatly appriciated.

Nothing is coming to mind, but I must say I liked how the stable covers all the bases as far as variety of talent. Is it possible that they could just be a united group without a name?

Not quite sure how to help you with this one. I'm not sure if I totally understand what you are asking.

Well none of those guys are really going to compliment Owen's style, but I think Goldberg would be an interesting style clash. There would be a lot of suspense in this one because it wouldn't look like Owen has a chance in heck.

- Should I form a face faction to go against my heel one?
No. A heel faction running over the individual faces adds a lot of intrigue to the shows. Eventually a group of faces will have to rise up, but "faction warefare" fizzles and dies quickly.

There are 452 different wrestler to choose from, excluding the ones the game creates and the ones I will add when the time comes (Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, etc). This is actually small compared to other updates, some of which go over 1200 wrestlers. Basically, if they were would at the beginning of 1995, they're in here.

To create wrestler in a saved game: Rename your data folder, then rename your saved game folder "data". Go into the game and hit the "File Editor" button, then the "Workers" button. You can only get three shows in game, but if you want to another another yourself, go to the "television" button. Once you're done, delete the saved game folder the game has created to replace the one you named "data", rename your saved game folder back to it's original name (if you were in the s1 slot, for example, you'll rename it "s1" again), and rename the real data folder "data" again.

One more thing: Adam Ryland's data sucks. I would suggest loading either a data update (http://ravexgames.simgameresources.us/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=7) or a scenario (http://ravexgames.simgameresources.us/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=8) from Rave X Games (http://ravexgames.vze.com/). They use real companies for your sponsors and the updates have more promotions and wrestlers.

Just replace the old data folder new data folder and start a new game.

Do this:


Load the update/scenario of your choice.
Move the new data folder into the EWR folder.
Start a new game. The game you started before you loaded the update/scenario will not be affected.

I see that it added the promotion NOAH but when i look at the other promotions to pick which I i want
there is blank spots and weird text.

Well, we let this stay in Entertainment for a while, but it's clear to me that Video Games should be it's proper home.
