Rez. Most definitely. Playing it is like tripping on acid...or so I've heard :moon2:. Get the European version if you can.

Dead or Alive 2 Special Edition
it's almost exaclty like the PS2version and has tons more than the US version had (LOTS more costumes and play as Tengu and Bayman) and the nude kasumi in the intro helps :moon2:

If you hook up your US DC to the internet and go to a certain website (i forget which one), you can download VMU data that unlocks the original intro and turns the age up to 255..so more bounciness...

she's floating in a yellow jello-like substance, and you "see" all the parts, but you can tell it was just the model with no clothes no, they didn't "model" any nudiy in (only her butt really)
nothing to really get excited over (just a quick giggle :D ) but the cosumes and playable characters are what really ake the game a must buy over the US version
EDIT: there was a name you could enter in the Survival top 10 that would unlock the nude intro, but I don't remeber what it was

What's the difference between the Euro version of Rez and the Japanese version, anybody happen to know? I ordered the Japanese version, I hope I didn't make too big a mistake. (-:
But yeah, play Rez and Guilty Gear X on a friend's PS2, like I did, and you'll know why you MUST purchase those games. (-:

Oh, good god, if you have maracas, Samba De Amigo ver. 2000 is a MUST OWN IMPORT. SOOOOOO much more than just the USA Samba. And the Challenge mode? FREAKING CRAZY! Ive owned it for about a year and a half and STILL havent finished Challenge all the way through. I am the Samba Hero!

Do you have to have to have the maracas, or can you play it with out them?

You dont NEED them, but its not as enjoyable. Maracas basically are necessary to get the full enjoyment. Without maracas, dont import.

My imports of Guilty Gear X and Rez just came in today, and after playing them again I must reiterate: these games are must-haves. Guilty Gear X is probably tied with Marvel vs. Capcom 2 as my favorite 2D fighter of all time, and Rez... Rez is a just a head trip. Picture Starfox on acid with a techno soundtrack and you've got Rez.
Oh, and just so you know, I'm using the Gameshark CDX to play imports on my American system. I've heard it doesn't work with all games, but it works perfectly fine with those two, and that's all I care about. (-: Also has some shibby cheats for Sword of Berserk: Guts' Rage, which is cool, because I only bought that game for the cut scenes. (-:

Mynd, because of your words I will make it my quest to get this two games... I do love Guitly Gear. ^_^
I hear too much about Rez now not to pick it up. Just hope I can find it on eBay for a reasonable price.
