No comment, ever since that 4Kids butchered up Malik (Marik for you dubbers), I'm not going to watch it anymore. It's going to get messed up even more.

Pokemon was its usual drag out self... i was hoping they'd leave rocket or something! why must they continue with the same thing! why!

No Yugi for me as usual. I can't believe that shows still airing though. And they're all happy it has 3 TV guide covers? POKéMON had like 50 heh..

POKéMON was pretty good. It was a Team Rocket spotlight and I usually don't like those but this one wasn't so bad. I'm surprised TR members have to renew memberships and whatnot. They even get a healthcare plan? 4Kids must have taken some dialogue liberties..

Delibird hasn't been in the anime until now and it has a surprisingly good appearance. Ash's newborn Phanpy got frozen...geez that thing is not having a good babyhood.

The quality of anime on network TV is really pathetic these days. Kinda makes you long for the days of poorly-dubbed Robotech, Sailor Moon and Teknoman (Tekkaman)...

I don't watch Yugioh, but Pokemon rocked. I taped it and watched it with my dad. It was one of the best episodes ever, with some of the best lines ever. "Team Jet is full and Team Helicopter is a bunch of snobs, so what were we to do?" "Besides, Team Rocket has stock options!"

Brilliant episode, and I hope the writing continues to be a fresh and amazing as it was in this episode.

the psychic kid, Esper Roba keeps his name in this recent episode. Also, Marik is the japanese name of his character, some people just write it the way they pronounce it, Malik. When they translate names, they usually switch L's and R's because of the pronounciation. Sailor moon was poorly dubbed throughout the whole run of it, every season something was messed up, but we should be thanking the dubbing companies! They may have messed it up, but it wasn't as bas as Saban's Sailor moon. Imagine what would have happened if Saban's pilot actually made it in, the one that was not dubbed at all, but redone, and we had an american looking girl who has a white cat and she magically transforms into a cartoon! Yeah... I dont think so...If Saban's actually made it through, sailor moon would most likely have been canceled after like 14 episodes..

I'm sad to say this, but I also gave up on Yugioh TV series. I've became very hateful towards 4Kids' dubbing with the music and everything. Their dub is aubtrocious (sp?). I no longer care about it's TV series anymore and I no longer even plan to watch it. Perhaps, maybe a few episodes later on in the year, or maybe when I accidently stumble onto that series, but now, I've had it.

I'm looking forward to Yugioh manga series.

I watched both, Pokemon was good, and of course i liked the Yu-Gi-Oh! ep, Joey's my favorite character. I know they edited out guns just buy looking at at Pegaseus' lackys in a few eps but what else was edited?

Well, it certainly wasted no time with introduction. Right away we see Rex vs. Espa Roba, and it ends just as quickly. A sneak peak of Jinzo, with no indication of its real power. It was nice to have Rex around commenting; he provided an interesting alternative to Yugi & bunch.

The duel seemed slow. Not a whole lot happened. Joey makes a dumb move, Cyber Raider's defense stats are goofed (DEF: 1100, not 2100), Joey fights back with an interesting and powerful Dice combo (imagine Blue Eyes x6! 18,000 attack!!), Espa uses a nifty trap, and Jinzo is revealed. It just seems like so little.

Yes, Espa Roba looks bad. Yes, he sounds worse. This wouldn't be too bad if he had a better deck, but his isn't very original. He mainly has machine monsters (which we've already seen with Bandit Keith). His only distinguishing possessions are his monster-controlling traps and Jinzo (which seems kinda silly, because Jinzo would negate all his traps).

The backstory with the circus kids was weak, but I loved seeing Mokuba as tournament enforcer. He chased those kids!

The only thing that really bugs me about this show are the multi-colored backgrounds they frequently show behind duelists. It looks bad and makes no sense. They didn't have those at Duelist Kingdom, so why are they here now?

Yes, Espa's Jinzo was called Android Psycho Shocker in Japanese.

The scheduling was interesting, showing Keith vs. Joey: Part I in the morning (my second favorite duel of the series). Joey relied on his traps to save him that time, but that won't help him now. I'm curious to see how Joey'll pull it off, but other than that I'm not real interested. Bring on more Rare Hunters, Weevil, and Mako!

During the conversation Yugi and Anzu/Tea had at their date, Yugi stated that he knew he was a pharaoh. But in the original version, he never knew he was a pharaoh. He doesn't even know anything about his past life. And this whole arc is about him searching for who he is. But now that the dub had already stated that Yugi already knows he's a pharaoh, the key plot points that were suppose to be in this arc was ruined.

The name translations were stupid. Although I applaud them for able to keep the name "God Cards" inside, I'm somewhat baffled by their unneeded translation of the God Cards' name themselves. Obelisk the Tormenter? Why not just keep it as "Divine Soldier of Light and Darkness"? And why did they change the name Obelisk to Silfur? What the hell IS a "silfur"? Is it some kind of a scientific chemical? No, wait, that's "sulfur". Argh!

Then they changed Revolver Dragon's artwork around. Remember the whole gun situation, where everything has to be edited to look like fingers? Well, Revolver Dragon went from this:

They removed the guns from the dragon's head and replaced it with some 3-D Space, Alien, charged, whatever that thing is.
And they renamed Revolver Dragon into Barrel Dragon, because it had the name "revolver" in it.

It may not seem like much, but the concept behind it is.
