I don't see why people give it such a hard time? It seems alot more thought went into it then alot of the cartoons we get here. I don't know if Mr. Doyle would be to happy with it if we brought him back to life (like they did for Homes is the series), but it still is worth watching IMO, and certainely better then the dredge KWB has been serving up lately.

I watched the show last year when it was breifly on FOX, and then when it came to the Canadian chanel called FAMILY. It's not all that bad, but not that great. The sad thing is, it would've been the best serieson KWB, likely...

I saw an eppy of it once which was based on The Speckled Band....and it was not half-bad! The writing was clever and the best part, in my opinion. The big problem I have with it is that Watson is dead... :(
And I'm with DG. It's probably gonna be the closest thing we have to a good show on KWB. Sigh....at least the best show is one based off of a good short stories collection...:o

Dang. I never got around to seeing it, and I'm a Holmes fan.

It was pretty good. I loved the detective parts of it. But it did have some cheezy jokes, animation, and action. So imo, it's pretty much an "eh" show, but w/ good detective work. Does that make sense?

Yeah, I watched it back of Fox Kids. I thought it was one of the better-done shows of the time.
Holmes, a robot Watson. I liked that. The cop girl..while I would understand her part, I still feel she "clutters" up the group. And the "street kids" that help them out...Not much creativity put into them.
Over all, good show. Well writen, animated..but yes, it's fairly corny.

Anachronistic. The dialogue is spot-on...if it was set in the 19th century!!
I feel that the sci-fi gimmick was tacked on, and wasn't necessary. As such, plucking Holmes out of his time period and putting him in the 22nd century just dosn't jive well with me.
But it's not terrible. Just harder to take seriously.

The Watson robot gets a bit silly when he dons flesh and clothing to completely imitate Watson, and Holmes himself seems a bit too cheery about everything. The characters play out as wooden to me, and Moriarty has been turned into a stereotyped super villain, complete with deranged and stupid sidekick. Clever idea to upgrade original works into another scenerio, but the whole 22nd Century concept just doesn't work for me.
Certainly wish GodzillaTS had as many lives as this lame version of Sherlock Holmes appears to possess.
Btw, SH didn't air on WB down here--it showed up early on a different indy station right before a series of infomercials.
