Well, the end is here...This week marks the last week for BATMAN BEYOND on the KidsWB ! The new season starts next week and Batman Beyond isn’t included. Sure it'll be back on Oct. 1st on CN, but this wil be the only chance in the US to catch UNMASKED for at least 8 - 12 months.
Batman Beyond will be on each night this week at 4:30pm.

Tuesday 9/11/01 - "Where's Terry?"
Wednesday 9/12/01 - "Eyewitness"
Thursday 9/13/01 - "Meltdown"
Friday 9/14/01 – "Unmasked" – NEW EPISODE!!

The only thing worth singing about is the final new episode...

Maybe it's me, but it feels weird calling Unmasked the last episode of Batman Beyond. *sniff sniff*. Ah, the memories....

It's sad to see it go, but at least it had a good run. The KWB new season will suck without it, IMHO. Heck, at least it's gonna go out with a bang on KWB. Here's looking forward to seeing it again on CN!

Man. I've known BB was going to go away for a long time now, but it feels weird knowing that this is the last week i'll see it on TV. I don't like it.

I think this is the sadest time of my life, yet the happiest at the same time. I mean, we are finally going to see Unmasked! Y'know, I am still bewildered at why KWB ended BB. With it gone the only slightly good show on that hated channel will be X-Men: Evolution. Ah well. Screw KWB! Let's all head on over to CN (After this last week of BB I mean!)!

Ah, farewell, Batman Beyond. It was a great show, and if it wasn't quite on par with B:TAS it still managed to be classier and more interesting than most of the stuff out there. Heck, even its failures were at least interesting. Considering the rapid kiddification of KWB shortly after its release, I think we were lucky to even have had a third season. It was great while it lasted, and at least the tradition of quality will live on in the Justice League series.
Hopefully I won't forget to tape Unmasked....

When I heard "Unmasked" was the last episode..I was sad. "May" would be the "last" month I'd see a new Batman episode.
Fast-Forward to the future:
I just wanna see the episode. I've settled with the fact that Batman Beyond is gone..just let me see the last episode and put it to sleep already. It's like prolonging a dogs death just because you can't put him to sleep, even though you know it's the right thing to do.
I'm ready to see Batman Beyond go, because I know in the future I'll see the episodes on DVD and I'll be able to say "I saw everyone of those episodes the first time they aired". It'll be a great feeling to know that I was one of many thousands of viewers to expierience Batman Beyond when it was fresh and new.
And I'd love to fast-forward to see the future to see the headlines on ToonZone News:
"Kids WB! At it's record Low. Possible loss of morning cartoons on the WB network, as it is shutting down it's Kids WB! department. The ratings went down after the critically acclaimed 'Batman Beyond' series was dropped from their schedule.
Their once popular series, Pokemon, now on it's 200,000th episode, is finally being cancelled. Everybody is saying 'Thank You God!' since this series has added another 150 pokemon to the line up each year, bringing the total into over 1000 pokemon. Over a thousand children have been hospitalized from the brain overload these little monsters have caused."
Phew..that's good news...I wonder if it'll come true..

Ah, BB. I hardly got to know ye.
Man, I'll be reading the Pokemon news with joy when I see that aritcle! And I'm sorry to hear of how KWB got more kid-"friendly" just after the series was released. That obviously hurt its chances. This show had some good plot development, I respected the show for that.
At least KWB was wise enough to allow UNMASKED as the final eppy, it would be a good way to end the run untill BB went to C. Network...may it get more respect there...
