Volcana Returns (?)

according to the watchtower, Peri Gilpin has been asked to reprise the role of Volcana. Maybe she'll be part of the Secret Society: a foil to J'onn most likely.

Yeah I guess she will be in the SS. I wasn't a big fan of her STAS episode but oh well. I guess they are going to touch on J'onns fire weakness this season.

i have that ep SOMEWHERE

in a team-setting, Volcana can be a viable threat. She can use her abilities to attack as well as distract & occupy her opponents. I welcome her return. I doubt she'd be contempt on that island forever. She's not Superman's pet ya know??? Gilpin has a great voice too.

Luthor, Grodd, Sinestro, Volcana, Grundy, Faust (please!!! :D ), and The Shade (hey, he's greedy!)

I believe it's been said that Luthor definitely won't be part of the Secret Society. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Much as I'd like for the Shade to return, it's highly improbable since only Grundy's been confirmed for a return to season two.

As for Volcana, I never saw her ep in STAS, so I'm excited about this.

For the record, there's no word on the actual roster of the Secret Society -- all we have officially is the list from the two-year old press packet (remember -- the one that said that The Key would appear?). Who knows who's in it now?

Anyway, all we know is that the Secret Society is appearing and that Volcana is appearing, but we don't know if she's on the team or not.

Yea, I heard the same thing that Volcana will be on JL S2. I actually liked her and ditto on Gilpen's voice. She was one of most distinct voices ever. I like that...lata

i know there's not an official roster yet

but it's fun to speculate....chances are we won't get the Secret Society ep on US airways for a long time anyway. might as well make a game of it.

for what it's worth, learning of Volcana's return to animation strongly suggests she'll be involved in a team effort, as she's not a league threat on her own

Hmm. By reason of Volcana's first Superman episode (which I very much enjoyed) I can't entirely see her as a heavy hard on focused criminal type, but I guess that's because I just need more of her. And that's what this episode will give, obviously, so we're cool. :)

The show could take her a number of cool places, so I hope that's where we're going.
