Well, for Futurama at least. people who never knew much about Adult Swim are now talking about how happy they are that Futurama is on Cartoon Network every night. So that's the effect they were going for, I believe.

here's another effect they were going for that worked out in my school:

i know a couple of kids at my school who have started watching futurama again. i convinced several of them to stay tuned and watch the show that comes on immediatly afterwards (home movies, in case you didn't know). almost all of them liked it (the episode that was on that day was "director's cut", btw). a few more of them are watching tonight (even though "method of acting" isn't the strongest episode, im sure some will like it).

Well I was thinking that they would also stay up to watch Lupin the 3rd and Inu-Yasha, since those are another 2 popular shows and somthing like that.

Yea, same, a lot of people never heard of AS, but now theyre watchin Futurama at 11. Bad always comes with goodness :D
