I just saw a comercial that mentioned Transformers. It wasn't that crappy CG show either.

Ya mean the old early '80s one? ALL RIGHT! I spent many childhood hours watching that show...those were the days.
....if you saw a commercial for it, then it most likely is on the network. Did the commercial say any info like the time it's on? I'd appreciate it...

Look, guys, the franchise isn't going anywhere any time soon. This new show is for a new audience--it's kiddiefied! I mean really, really, kiddiefied. Even moreso than the old one.

So don't get your hopes up.

BTW--it's got cute kids in it. That'll do it.

ARGH! Kiddified...the worst word one can hear in animation land. And I forgot the general topic post...and it may be so kiddified that not even kids would watch it!
...sigh. This is sucky....guess I still have to rely on memories...(sniff)

Eh, don't let Jojo spoil it for ya - its not that bad. If you've ever seen any of the other Japanese transformers shows and enjoyed them, you'll enjoy this as well. Its not as bad as Jojo likes to make it out.

Hearing that this Transformers is kidified reminded me of the movie and how it has some things never seen in animation before. Man those were the days.

I watched it today (Luckily I have TiVo, no way I'm getting up at that God awful time on a Saturday) and I really didn't think it was that bad. I didn't think, so far, it was too kidified and while it had its low points, I enjoyed it.
