Reminds me of something I once read on The World BBS [cleaned up for readability]:
"Bought '.hack//sign' last week from [::snip::] for about 40 bucks. Yah, it's a Hong Kong import so ya know it's pirated. How pirated? The UPS guy that dropped off my disks was dressed-up like Long John Silver and he a parrot with him. When he handed me the box, he said, "Arrrrh! here be yer DVDs from Hong Kong," and then the the parrot on his sholder started squaking, 'Bootleg! BOOTLEG!'" --HackYeah, anyway... I'd much rather pay for the official DVD sets. Not only do the creators get what they deserve, but it's much like sending a solid cash vote to the distributers to help support the import of more good series instead of whatever junk everyone else is buying. :D Good enough reason? I think so! Besides, this way, it's also legal. =x

Okay folks. Seriously this time. At Toon Zone we can't talk about attaining of pirates or bootlegs if there is an official access to the content in question. (Such as talking about a Cowboy Bebop bootleg, when the original is right there in the stores.) And since '.hack//sign' is going to be released here... That's a rules violation. (And last I checked, eBay was not an official access.)

No harm done, I understand. But we're going to close up shop on this thread.

Thank you, come again.
