They should be banned because they are not classic cartoons. They should not be shown among the classics.

But first how about showing ALL of them on one Looney Tunes Show?

Norman Normal
All Daffy/Speedys (it's a shame that this wonderful series seems to be gone)
Mississippi Hare (if edited properly it could air during the day)
Frigid Hare (if edited properly it could also air during the day)
Of course, I would like to see more un-pc stuff late at night)

That's just wrong.

Why should they be banned JUST because they're the newer cartoons?

Remember, doc, just because you don't really like those cartoons doesn't mean that they should be kept from rotation for people who do like it. Banning makes choices for people who wish to make their own decisions.

Some of the newer ones (Like Blooper Bunny and Night Of the Living Duck) are very funny (to me, at least).

After all, there's too many classics that are banned already!

what should really be pulled is not the later bugs toons, but
the OVERPLAYED Cartoon Cartoon shows, such as Cow and chickin (out of production and cancelled in 99), the Cartoon Cartoon pilot shows from 1995, and Sheep in the big City (probally the worst, imo).
lets retire the CC shows before returings WB toons, even new ones.

I just saw Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers for the 1st time in several years, taped it last Saturday, and i must say that it's got to be one of the worst Bugs cartoons ever made, in my opinion. It sucked! Well, okay, not 100%, it had a few good seconds but i don't think it should be banned. If CN said they only show classic Bugs then you have an argument. They show Looney Tunes and the newer ones fit in whether you like 'em or not.

What SHOULD be banned is the practice of showing edited cartoons... that's just my opinion. I think suggesting they show "properly edited" cartoons is almost a sin. If people email/write CN and ask them to do that, what kind of message does it give to the higher-ups? I can just see these messages being sent up the line, essentially telling them, "hey, it's okay to edit all we want, we can throw away the footage forever, people have no desire to see it." AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Now, yeah, some of it's really bad by today's standards, well, to most people who aren't in the kkk or aryan nation, but really, to edit it is not right. These cartoons could be shown in the right context, say, in a special like the upcoming Fairy Tales special and/or late at night with warnings beforehand. Ideally they should be preserved on DVD, something that'll never happen unless people write and ask!

I think what's MUCH more important than what CN shows is seeing what they don't show gets on DVD for people to enjoy.

i have to agree with banning the Editing of the classics.
but if anying shoudl be banded is the POOR animated CC toons, cow chicken, sheep.
and i do have to admit, bunny snatches was poorly animated,
but intersed to see.

I thought the poor animation technique jokes in "Invasion" were pretty funny, though the cartoon (obviously) sucked.

Are you INSANE? I'm rather enjoying life without those putrid piles of poo, though the occasional Road Runner shorts from that era still pop up once in a while *shudder*. THOSE cartoons should be banned for life, they're the equivalent of being skinned alive and rolled around in salt.

I always wondered if this cartoon was a response to complaints about the quality of recent cartoons featuring the classic WB characters. In effect, they were saying "Hey, they could look like THIS.".
