When people call JUSTICE LEAGUE JLA instead of JL. It's JL! It's been advertised as JL since April! Timm even said he dislikes the "America" at the end and dropped it! It's just JL...

oops...I didn't realize that..since in the future it was the JLU, I figured it was still JLA..anywho..I'll try to be more careful and call it "JL" from now on...hehe

...oops...fixed...I know it's a childish thing, but I even see official sites calling it JLA. Still, JLA is a good book...

JLAdv is the "official" abbreviation that DC has given Justice League Adventures so it won't be confused with JLA. Kooky.

It's a smart move to call the series JL instead of JLA since they want to broadcast the show in other nations too *lol*

I like the A. In this case I just make it stand for Animated or Adventures. I agree about not liking "America" as the A's standing though.

I'm not to sure about MY JL pet peeves, but as of now it's (1) John is GL instead of Kyle from Superman (but for all I know, that could be a temporary peeve) and (2) It's not November yet.

I think that second one is more permanent than the first. ;)

It makes sense to me! It's "Justice League" and not "Justice League of America" because the J.L. is not just defending America; they're defending the whole planet Earth!!!

And maybe in Batman Beyond's time they become known as "Justice League Unlimited" because, now they're defending the entire Galaxy.
