From the 17th to the 20th, if 500 couples tie the knot on PSO, a new path will open up in the Famitsu Cup -2nd Stage- quest.

If you have more then one character each one can get married. So it's a given Sega will reach the 500 goal pretty fast. Oh and you'll need a boy/girl couple. But if you try to do it with someone of the same gender you can't be married, but the Father(priest) Rappy will say he's glad you found true love.

Sound fun? It's about time Sega got a couple of cool quests up. I'll probably be the only single girl there since most of my boy friends have girl characters or are already taken. Fun!

Sounds like a fun idea to me.

I should be free all Sunday on the 19th. Tell me where to meet ya and we can get married. ;)

That and kill some monsters. :D

This isn't new, hon. This all went down on the DC version of PSO as well, and we should consider ourselves lucky that Sonic Team has actually given us the quests here in the states, even though we can't win the prizes. **Sigh** We have so few quests that getting any is a good thing, and at least they gave us a major quest series, the Famitsu Cup.

I may end up on the Xbox version. Hopefully they'll treat us better there, as the US has always gotten the short end of the stick on PSO.

As much as I love nintendo and the 'cube, I must agree with ya... it was nice that on the DC (if you knew what you were doing) you could get on the japan servers and play with cats who really knew what they were doing. Find the right players who duplicated stoof, or were just generous traders, and you'd have all sorts of goodies. :D

They don't have a keyboard for GC? I thought they did.

Later...

To me, the duping was a problem. It made nothing special any more. In it's last days, a rare item just wasn't rare, and it really took a lot away. And PKing got to be so popular that I lost ALL my rares, gifts and found ones, and that just was enough. And now, the GC ver has crashed on me once so far causing me to loose quite a bit. So that's not fun~ I hope the xbox ver is better. I'd rather stay with the GC ver as I have one close friend there, and lots of time invested in my characters, so who knows for sure.

iie~ xbox version will be just like the GC ver, but with voice chat. I'd rather keyboard, but shou ga nai wa. Rumors were that it had another character type, but I don't think that ended up being true.

I totally agree. At first it was pretty darn cool. As I said, it was pretty rockin that you could get on the japanese servers for free and get all sorts of goodies... but the goodies and maxed out characters does make for a non-challanging game. Read: Dull.

So yes, you're right. I just thought it was neat. It was just a new and exciting experience for me.

I know Xbox PSO has a soft keyboard (I'm guessing ingame, like in Animal Crossing), and is working on a hardware keyboard. Perhaps I'm naive, but I don't see what there is to work-out. I mean, is it that difficult to make a keyboard for a console? ::shrug::
