Well, at least a B&W cartoon was shown. I don't believe any were shown this week, and was starting to wonder if they were gone for good....

I wish CN had their previous, non-tampered-with-by-the-folks-from-Burbank copy of "Drip-Along Daffy." To show the cartoon edited at all is very stupid, but to show it edited at 1:45 in the morning (when any kids are sleeping, and the people who are awake are probably too tired to figure out what Porky means :D ) is just, well, it's indescribable.

Can somebody from CN please explain to us why the line "Lucky for him this is a one-horse town" got chopped off? If they say "time-compressed", the executives should all be suppressed, because we won't be impressed! A pressing issue indeed...

Yes, a "time-compressed" excuse would be awfully depressing...

And a blatant half-truth. Yes, the cartoon is one of the many (read: too many) post-1948 shorts to be digitally compressed for time, but it still should have every inch of footage in it. "Rabbit Seasoning", "Rabbit Fire", and "Rabbit of Seville" are all compressed for time like "Drip-Along Daffy", but there aren't any filma breakages like that. Even "Box Office Bunny"'s infamous ending edit is handled better in its compressed version. In fact, perhaps we should add "time compression" to the list of faults that get reported when cartoons air.

There's something edited at the end of Box Office Bunny?! Ah-ha! I knew this cartoon was TOO short!

D'OH! I meant "Ballot Box Bunny". Box Office Bunny is fine. Nothing to see here. Move along.

There is nothing edited out of "Box Office Bunny" nor is it time compressed. I think Garrett was talking about the edited Russian roulette ending gag of "Ballot Box Bunny".
