Orta is your goddess!

So I just sat down and played Panzer Dragoon Orta for about 40 min. Taking a break from it for two reasons:

1) I have to eat
2) The game is so f'ing intense that my hand hurts ^_^

and well~

3) I like The Screen Savers on TechTV, so I have something to watch while I eat.

But I need to say a few things about this game: It is an experiences like no other, and I'm including the original Panzer Dragoon games.

The graphics are hands down the best I have ever seen. I honestly can't tell if the cinemas are done with the game engine or not.

The music, per PD standard, is jaw dropping.

And during all this, while there is so much going on on the screen, you never feel you've lost control of what's happening. This game is intense, phenominal, and very very hard.

Advice: Learn the dragon's forms and how to use them. I quit and saved after three attempts against the first boss, but during each attempt, I learned something new and got further against it.

If you own an XBox, and do not get this game, I suggest going to the hospital and seeing a doctor. It is amazing!

ALSO! If this game sells well, THEY WILL MAKE ANOTHER PANZER DRAGOON SAGA!!!! :)

ahh, yes, onme of the few games I'd consider dropping 200 bucks for the box on

well I played the demo on the XBOX...and I wasn't impressed--but by the volume of people gushing about it I may just give it another chance.

*waits to get it for $25 at Blockbuster* I said I was gonna give it another chance..not a full price chance though.. :p

J/K, but it really is a good game. I'm hopefully getting it saturday

From everything I've read, the demo is not very representative of the final version. A couple of months of polishing apparently can make a huge difference.

ya Xbox was one of the best perches i made. i had to send my PS2 into sony for a repair of there DISK READ ERROR problum so its just Xbox titles cant what for fable, Halo 2, and to pick up my DOAXBVB

Xbox is starting to be really worth it now. I'm glad I got a Cube, but the Xbox is looking better all the time with games like this. Too bad it's made by Microsoft.

Actually, the game was developed and published by Sega and Smilebit.

Exactly why I'm willing to give it a chance. Only aspect I don't like is that you don't have free-roaming..it's all done for you..hence, "Rail shooter"..

Oh come on, Microsoft can do something right. Just because they made a crappy OS before 2000 doesn't mean everything they make is going to be crap.

Panzer Dragoon Orta=GOTY 2003

Ok, maybe I'm jumping the gun a little bit. Still, I'm sure it'll be one of my favorites this year. Everything about the game just has this amazing "WOW" factor to it.

For all who have played it, what are your favorite levels? I'm gonna have to say 3,5, and 8 are my favorites.

It took me 15 TRIES to beat the boss on Episode 2 on Normal mode. Little did I realise that switching forms makes things easier...and you can hold down "Shoot" in Glide Wing form...

The demo was good, well the twenty minutes i played of it a game stop... My body is craving more, but I dont own an X-box, nor do I plan to in the near future... Luckily my friend does... now if only he would buy PDO...

Start talking to him in his sleep, or have someone sneak a tape recorder with you saying "Buy Panzer Dragoon Orta" into his bedroom to get it. It's worth the trouble. ^_^
