A pretty minor thing, actually, but on the episode that aired last night, Tuesday 1/14/03, Brendon' utterance of "Jesus" was half-muted out, sounding like "Ji-[pause]".

That's always been censored. It was a UPN edit.

It was censored from tonight's episode and I think a couple of others, too.
From UPN's run. It's not the CN's fault.

"Jesus" is a bad word.. duh!
I'm surprised no one mentioned "Sweet Jesus." It's still clever, right?

At least we're not in the UK, where it's censored even more. In "Law and Boarder," the 'Don't Kill Children' song is left out entirely.
But I'm told the "Jesus" in 102 was left in.

There's a difference between saying "Jesus!" as an expletive and talking about the statue of Jesus in Rio De Janiero.

Yeah, but they didn't just talk about the Jesus statue in Rio...they lifted it up and spun it around to swat down helicopters!
And the 170 feet statue of Jesus smiled and winked.
They even made a joke when Jesus swat down the other choppers...
