New AS 'shorties'

Wonder Twins Power Activate!
I assume this is AS only, I haven't been watching much regular CN recently. I thought both of the ones I saw were funny, but so far it's a one-joke gag that will wear off faster than Captain Linger.

What I especially liked (and what made me think it's only AS) was the part where the one says "Form of... crap" that was good.
(Should I bother with the spoiler? It does give away what happens, but it's only a shortie in a thread dedicated to them. Oh well, they say when in doubt use spoilers)

Watering Hole
I was just about to turn the TV off when they showed this. WHY did they show it all the way after Cowboy Bebop!? It should have aried with Home Movies...duh. It shows promise though. Generated the kind of tentative chuckles that Home Movies did when I first started watching that.

Any other ones coming up soon? I for one even like the HB babies

i didnt even know there was one of these on yesterday. it definetely should've aired at the end of home movies, i dont really know why they would put it after bebop. :confused:

They just aired a Flintstones 1 right before Lupin the 3rd. Wonder how many they made.

Another Watering Hole on tonight, once again badly placed directly after Cowboy Bebop. Funny.

Not much effort put into that "What Quick-Draw is Thinking" short though, or for that matter the Flinstones one. But then I guess such cheaply produced stuff means that they can make alot of them. And just because they're cheaply made doesn't mean they're not going to be funny. Plus, children's cartoons swearing will always be funny,

Especially when Wilma calls Fred a "fat-****"

gogeta, are you gonna be recording the shorts ever night? cus i was just informed that they just threw two new ones into wednesdays line up and i missed them... i dont like watching this damn lineup every nitght just so i can see the shorts... dera god i treally hope you are taping every night that adult swim is on...

I've seen three Watering holes, no fart jokes. There was the "do you smell it now?" sketch, but that was not about farts. The new goat one was the funniest and of course the one I missed taping.

It seems to be semi-intellectual stuff, quite appropriate for the Home Movies creators.

does anyone know if on wednesday's night's (1/15) AS they aired watering hole? I didn't see it anywhere. I also agree anything baby-fied sucks, I fast foward through the baby stuff. Also those "Not For Air" shorts were funny but it's gonna get old real fast.

Watering Hole was before Yu Yu Hakusho.

Baby Thundarr and Not For Air: Scooby Doo aired before Lupin III.

What He's Really Thinking must have aired sometime after Yu Yu Hakusho started, because that's when my VCR stops (before YYH). Otherwise I would have seen it.

that watering hole skit (the one on ASU) was really good! i say once again this should be on right after/before home movies. my favorite part was about how the lion started with eating the throat first.

What's the excuse that's going around now? I think it was something like since they got Futurama they need to make money to compensate for it so they cut more intros and put in more ads......... and skits.

The shorties are a great addition to the block espically the Wonder Twin Skits. If the blocks could have more shorties by cutting more intro's, do it since the shorties make me watch the commercials. The only shorty I realy do not care for is the watering hole #4.

I liked the wonder twins one.. I remember seeing "supposedly serious" episodes of them when they were with the superfriends..lol. It was cheesy back when I was a kid and they're even more cheesy now. (Although I'd really have liked to seen the new IY opening. :rolleyes: )

I know, dont worry, im moving, i have to mess around with a lot of the stuff. All the new(er) files are still there, but a lot of the old files do not work.
