Well...Moon Over Minerva had a dancing frog that was supposed to remind us of that cartoon, but I don't think that the whole thing was supposed to be a tribute. There was also the Tiny Toons "Class Cut-Up" but that's a different series. I would guess White Gloves (the one where Wakko's gloves go out and do stuff). I don't think that the two have much in common but I feel like guessing for fun anyways.

"Night of the Living Buttons" has Michigan as a zombie frog. He even scares Mindy. Is that it?
It is a day later, a couple have looked at the question, I honestly did not believe it when I saw this in the Animaniacs ep......It is a story called "Gold Wrapping Paper" (I think that is the title)... Very slow moving, about a piece of gold wrapping paper, bought at a fine department store, that is immediately thrown away, and goes on an oddesy, flies thru the air, flows down a drain, many different takes, picked up by a bird, (I think from a garbage dump, then some how it lands in a trash can..........By this time, most have turned the station, what is the point? Also, this toon was narrated by someone who sounded like that guy, who used to narrate Disney cartoons......So there is, in my opinion, a Disney like charater to it, that would almost on purpose, turn you off,......Anyway. The gold wrapping paper is picked up by a poor man, who appears to be out of work, and wrapps a toy soldier he had found , or gotten somehow, and gives it to his poor son..The family is down on their luck, and appears to be living out of their car......
How does it have anything to do with "One Froggy Evening"? That father is exactly the same man, who finds the frog, and tries to sell that frog's services to all, and that frog as we know, shuts up. The greedy guy ends up completely gone in every respect. We know the story. I believe, that the giving of the gift to his son, in that Animaniacs espisode, was an act of redemption, so the man is in good graces with his son, the son smiles, and the story ends on a happy note. Whoever gave the go ahead on that episode, wanted our friend,(from One Froggy Evening) who you see for probably less then 15 seconds, to gain redemption. An ultimate story, for a great cartoon....Also a great tribute to its maker, Chuck Jones.

Yes, that one inexplicably gets a lot of bashing by people, but it's one of my favorites. The man who finds the discarded paper looks like the foreman in "One Froggy Evening"...and a little like the narrator of the short, Jim Cummings (using his Sterling Holloway voice).
Michigan has also appeared in Tiny Toon Adventures and The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries.

Michigan J. Frog was the frog's name, given to him by Chuck Jones sometime after One Froggy Evening. I don't know if the foreman had a name.
