I thought of an idea that might enable Justice League to use the other guy they chose as the Green Lantern for the Justice League, and STILL be consistent with Batman/Superman and Batman Beyond. Here's my idea: the other guy (I can't remember his name) became a Green Lantern and joined the Justice League, but Kyle Rainer is also a Green Lantern, but simply NOT a member of the Justice League. Perhaps the Green Lantern corps works like the Catholic Church does with preiests: Different species are periodically sent to patrol parts of space other than their home from time to time. So, Kyle Rainer, after joining the Green Lantern corps, may be currently patrolling another part of the Galaxy during Justice League.... Cool, huh?

What do you think? Even if Justice League never actually says it, we can just assume it, since it makes sense and will keep all four cartoons consistent as "one" storyline...

Batman: The Animated Series
The Batman/Superman Adventures
Batman Beyond
Justice League

By the way, if you count the 13 currently made episodes of Justice League, how many episodes are there currently when you add ALL FOUR series together? It must be at least a couple of hundered, but what's the exact number???

For the last time..... Batman Beyond is a possible future. An Elseworlds idea. So just cause something happened or was mentioned in BB. (Like Tim's torture) doesn't necessarily mean it will happen in TNBA or JL. Paul Dini said this way in the beginning of the show.

BTAS and TNBA have 109 episodes total
STAS has 52 episodes
BB has 52 episodes.
JL has 26 episodes planned for season 1.

239 episodes!! Crap that's a lot.

And before it comes up, let me reiterate my own pet peeve... people who think the flashback in ROTJ took place in TNBA time. Remember, in the flashback Arkham was deserted and gutted, which suggests at least a year has passed since TNBA. So even if one takes the Batman Beyond future as gospel, it won't be time for Bruce and Babs to hook up in JL's time.

i for one fully except bb as the animated continuity's future, i mean we had 52 eps and a movie, its the future, deal with it. i think dini stated that just to ease the people with really strong doubts about someone other than bruce wayne becoming batman.

anyway, timm said recently that the jl takes place before the flashback, so its all good. lets say the flashback took place 2 years after tnba, considering the time it would take to officially close arkham, move all the inmates, and partially demolish it. YES! One continuity!!!!

Oh, and squall, i like your green lantern explaination, that makes perfect sense and i wish they mention it in the series, even though i doubt they will since timm said they would just ignore "in brightest day", which suggests he didnt even mention it in the series. oh well, WE all know what happened....
