pokemon and Yugioh today new episodes talkbacks

today sat january 11th is yugioh and pokemon all new episodes when u finished wathcing either or the shows or both comment about the episodes.

The pokemon one was a bit of a disapointment, I wanted to see the egg hatch.....>_<

As for YGO,it was good. I LOVE the new intro, but I was hoping they'd have a different theme song, but I like it way better than what they had before. As for the eppisode, I liked it, not enough to record it, but still liked it

That Rare Hunter should be shot just for being so frikkin' irritating. And it was pure pain to have to hear from Weevil again. I can feel my old urges to rip his vocal cords out returning.

Yugioh episode was awesome today! I love that Beta Warrior! And can someone please explain to me what the heck Yugi did when he polymerized those 2 creatures???????????????How the heck did he summon 2 monsters on one turn?????That confused the heck out of me. Also I noticed these things:
-Rex's voice sounded different
-Shouldn't Joey's data have been changed since his rare card wasn't Red Eyes Black Dragon anymore?
-Weevil looks so freakin nasty
-Mako is now acting annoying
-Joey has a new shirt!
-ROTFLAMO at Tristan!!!!!!!!!
-The serenity eye thing was freaky!

And about the opening, what was up with the sound? It seems like the sound was screwed up in many places. Like when Yugi said "Its time to duel!" the sound sounded like on a microphone.Besides some sound probs, most of the opening looked good(especially Dark Magician Girl!!!!!!).

Unfortuanetly i missed both these shows, woke up late....are they still reshowing the yu-gi-oh episode later on in the week like thursday or friday, or did they stop doing that?

I saw the Yugioh episode wich was pretty cool, i would have liked to see the ending to the Rare hunter-Yugi match, other than that it was cool.

Today's Yu-Gi-Oh was awesome! The new intro was great to see (the "sound problems" I think were artistic effect) and showed some nice glimpses of what is to come. Yugi also had a new transformation sequence. It was a lot quicker but still striking. Also, I loved watching the Duel Disks activate.

It was great seeing all the old duelists from Duelist Kingdom back again, with new outfits! Interestingly, Mai's rarest card is Harpy's Feather Duster, but that makes sense since it's so powerful.

My brother and I both loved Joey and Tristen on the phone! Hilarious! It was also neat to see Serenity recovering from the operation with a bandage.

Yugi used a lot of new cards. The whole fusion thing went by really fast, but I think I caught what happened. Yugi sacrificed Beta Magnet Warrior to summon the four-armed dude, who's effect is that it can automatically summon another monster, Gazelle King of Beasts or whatever it was. These two monsters can then be fused to form the two-headed winged beast. (I've really got to learn their names.)

The duel went kinda slow, but that's probably because it's stretched out over two episodes. I realized they were going to do that after the intro to the tournament went so long, but oh well. This is the only duel where I know exactly how Yugi wins, so I can't wait to see the rest of them.

My big gripes were about the animation. I'm no expert, but the whole episode had a slightly different look and feel to it. Also, Yugi's yellow hair looked pale and washed out. Kinda disappointing.

Also, the Rare Hunter looked bad. His white hair was neat, but there were too many lines on his face and he was always hunched over. At least he had better defensive monsters this time.

Still, it was very good. I look forward to the Battle City arc with great anticipation.
