Best Darkseid voice

Michael Ironside was probably the better of the two. He had an ruthless evil voice. Perfect for a creature who wants to rule the universe. Welker was good as Darkseid in Super-Friends, but times have changed. Voice casts have become slightly better. So I say Ironside plays off the Superman voice cast perfectly.

Michael Ironside IS Darkseid. There is no better voice for Darkseid.

Well, i don't know anything about Superfriends, so i'm not completely unbiased. And i'm guessing Ironside is the guy from STAS, so, yeah, he did an exellent job.

I have enjoyed Michael Ironside as Darkseid like many others but I have a Question about the Superfriends Darkseid. Did he do the voice of the devil (or Satan or whoever) in Eddie Murphys movie "The Golden Child" ? I remember when I saw the movie when I was younger that the guy doing the voice sounded alot like Darkseid from the Superfriends. If anybody has access to the movie maybe they can tell me who did the voice by looking at the credits.

Well, i don't know specifically, but i wouldn't doubt it. Welker's voice is everywhere and he does everything.

Well, since I've seen neither, I can't comment, but as far as Welker's other voices go, I don't know about "The Golden Child", but I do know that he voiced Malbolgia (or the Devil/Satan/Lucifer, etc.) in the live-action Spawn movie. :)

Well my friends I did some investigating and Frank Welker has done alot of voices. I was correct that he did do the voice of what they called "The Thing" in "Golden Child".

Yes, the Transformers! I knew he had another big voice credit. That had been bugging me. Thanks Knight. He was awesome voicing various transformers. As for Darkseid I still have to go with Ironside.

LOL! The superfriends darkseid voice is also Woof from ROTJ?? That's funny stuff. I love Michael Ironside as Darkseid I can't imagine anyone else. I hear his voice whenever I read Darkseid in the comics. Much like how I hear Kevin Conroy when I read Batman comics.

Check out the guy's stuff. He's also Ray and Slimer from "Real Ghostbusters" and Freddie from "Scooby Doo."

Actually, that last may not seem much of a stretch. Admit it: You always thought Freddie and Darkseid were both pretty evil, didn't you? :D
