What did you think of Buzz?

You know, I was always a big fan of The Buzz Lightyear of Star Cammand cartoon but it never seemed like any one else liked it. Did every one think it was just a dumb cartoon? Share your thoughts and opions of the series.

I LOVED the cartoon! It was really cute, and very witty. Shame people didn't really give it a chance. :(

I should dig out my old tapes at some point... ^^

Buzz lightyear like Invader Zim has alien cultures that are more interesting than the forehead lumped people in star trek.

I didn't mind most of the side characters or villains, but Buzz himself annoyed me a little. Still watched the show, though. ^^

To be honest (and I know I'm going to catch flak for this), I actually though Patrick Warburton did a better Buzz than Tim Allen. =) Still... he was a bit air-headed, and I thought he was a small nusance..

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command is a favorite of mine. Would usually watch it on UPN whenever I'm up early enough in the morning, just wouldn't go out of my way to catch it. Buzz himself was a pretty entertaining character, but I found the supporting characters to be more fun to watch, especially XR and Booster.

lmao. He has the exact same voice as Agent Tee in MIIB. He played the overzealous Agent Tee the exact same way he voices Buzz. Ugh man that voice!

I think the character was just written that way. The perfect doo-gooder space cop. One thing I didn't like was Zurg. In Two Story Two he was a real menacing Darth Vader type but in the cartoon he was kind of pathetic. But I still loved the show.

While not a great show, I thought that "Buzz Lightyear" was pretty good. The writing reminded me of "Kim Possible" (no surprise, there). I just loved Zurg's asides; fine job by Wayne Knight.

I got a question. I swear the credits say Commander Nebula was voiced by Adam Carolla. Is that the same Adam Carolla who stars on "The Man Show?"

Yup, it's Adam 'Man Show, Crank Yankers and Loveline' Carolla.

All we needed was Jimmy Kimmel and girl rangers on trampelines and I would have died a happy woman. :D

I really had a thing for XR. He was so smart-alecky, but I loved him for it! (I even have his action figure too. ^^) Zurg was my favorite too... hehehehe. ^^

I thought it was a pretty good show while it lasted. I have a lot of episodes taped and I still have my PSOne game. I enjoyed Warburton as Buzz, he was good. Of course, what I really liked was Mira Nova (played by Mad TV's Vancome Lady--Nicole Sullivan). My favorite ep was when she got addicted to radioactive energy. Also, I enjoyed the eps with animal researcher Osma Furbonna. Wayne Knight was terrific as Zurg, IMO.

Oh, I'd like to know what did any of you think of Mira? I'm glad Nicole Sullivan is now Shego on Kim Possible. :D She's got a great voice and a wacky personality.
