Well can you blame him in this case? The movie wasn't exactly totally clear on the matter of Amuro's death.

Anyways, both Char and Amuro are dead. Tomino stated that he didn't want to do anymore "Char and Amuro" series anymore. And this movie was suppose to be a conclusion to their fight.
