Just another poll for fun. Enjoy!

I'd say it's a tie between "This Is A Life?", "His Hare Raising Tale", and "Tweet Dreams". The wrap-around bits are quite decently done.

The worst would be a three-way toss up between "Hareabian Nights", "The Freudy Cat", and "Devil's Feud Cake".

My favorite "cheater" toon wasn't listed, by my vote goes for "This Is A Life?" Not only a funny take-off on the old TV show "This Is Your Life", it was nice to see some WB characters appear on screen together for the first time, such as Elmer Fudd & Yosemite Sam.

Next on my list would be "Feather Bluster" and "Tweet Dreams".

I voted other, because my favorite wasn't on the list: "His-Hare Raising Tale". Also, "Wagon Heels" shouldn't be on the list, or a remake list, since it's an entirely different short from "Injun Trouble", with better animation, timing, and music. It uses better character designs too.

I chose Dough For The Do-Do...certainly a classic remake.

But in a 3-way tie for 2nd, I have Back Alley Oproar (Notes To You), Tick Tock Tuckered (Porky's Badtime Story), and Slightly Daffy (Scalp Trouble) ranked right up there.

Why is THE WILD CHASE there? I don't think it's a remake, and does it reused footage?

For "Cheater", if you're talking about a remake, then my favorite is TICK TOCK TUCKERED. The animation and gags are funnier and zanier (i.e. the ending), and Daffy and Porky have more chemistry than Gabby and Porky.

If you're talking about favorite cartoon with reused animation or scenes, then I don't really have one. I always thought reusing animation scenes (mostly done in the form of "flashbacks") was cheap, even when they do that on TV shows.

I pick Dough For The Do-Do, not only a good remake, but a good cheater cartoon, it's both (I think it's only one ever made by WB)!

P.S. The Wild Chase reuses Jones animation from earlier RR cartoons.

What exactly is a "cheater toon?"

It's when they take clips from old cartoons and string them together with new animation to make a new cartoon. It would save money since very little new material had to be made.

Prime examples (good and bad) of cheaters include: "Devil's Fued Cake," "His Hare Raising Tale," "Freudy Cat," "Friz Freleng's Looney Looney Looney Bugs Bunny Movie," "The Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner Movie," "Hare-abian Nights," and "Daffy Duck's Quackbusters."

Other people have mentioned remakes, like Back Alley Op-roar. These cartoons do not reuse old clips, all of the animation is new, the plot just isn't.

Also, "Dough For The Do-Do" is both a cheater and a remake, it is a remake of Porky In Wackyland, and it uses footage from "Tin Pan Alley Cats."

I guess my favorite would be FREUDY CAT.

Yeah, The Wild Chase used old Road Runner footage, so it's a cheater. Pretty much anytime Wile E. set a trap that backfired was from a previous cartoon. It did have new material too, but so do plenty of other cheaters.
