Anybody else go to one of these? The final one of the nationwide tour was awhile ago, but essentially, a Cube Club was (as the name would imply) a Gamecube-centric night club with music, dancing, food, prizes, and a helluva lot of kiosks. I went to one with a friend and had a pretty good time. As an obvious step towards fostering an adult image, some of the nights our local Cube Clube were open were 21 and over only... obviously, these were the nights sponsored by various beer conglomerates. Strangely, nights sponsored by Maxim and Stuff were all-ages. Hmm...

Anyway, of the titles I played, two were of real interest: 1080 Avalanche and Zelda. Both were predictably excellent.

Went there. Didnt enjoy 1080 as much as I would have hoped. Zelda was good. Mario Party was meh.

I went to Cube Club when it came through Baltimore. I made a thread about it awhile back. Fun time, and the crowd was light, seeing as it was a Thursday night. Had a blast playing Zelda and TS2.

Damn right I went to the Cube Club! I went to their several times weee! It came to Charlotte a month or so ago....free snapple and sour patch kids...all night woo! and the snapple girl that was there the second time I went was HOT, maybe a little older than me but it was worth a shot. So I started talking with her but THEN this damn older guy stole her attention in the middle of the conversation and I smelled defeat so I gave up and went and played Resident Evil Zero....::grumbles:: damn older guys... :p ...anyways it was fun but then after the whole snapple girl thing this ugly mouse girl came out of no where followed me around for like an hour. Creepy little thing didn't say anything...just followed me around and stood behind me (AKKKK!) gross little thing. That stalker mouse girl thing wasn't cool, but the free sour patch kids and games made up for it :D. Once I lost the mouse girl (Man did that take some maneuvering..and some hiding...) I rushed back to the snapple stand but alas the hot snapple girl was gone, prolly went off with that stupid older guy that looked like a ferret  . So the moral of the story is....well there is no moral just keep an eye out for the hot snapple girl :D and watch out for the mouse girl.

I went the last time they came to Chicago.. There was like this crazy kid at the door trying to sell me pills he had on sunglasses and a Mario hat on, and a pacifier in his mouth with candy beads. I went in and they were blasting techno music and everyone was hugging. Zelda was fun though and the new 1080 was much better than I thought, that's cause I expected it to suck.

I had the first one and it was one of my fave games and I didn't think they'd be able to top it, and it seems like they did...so far.

I never really liked Mario Party..So I didn't play it..lol But I did get a subscrition to Maxim, that girl was hot.
