Nelson,

Your batch of Lantz cartunes sounds uncoincidentally familiar... (cosidering I only gave those cartoons out to 1 person)...

MY print of "Toyland Premiere" is missing the scene when Santa Claus puffs the cake all over Laurel and Hardy's faces....

Not to rain on your parade, or anything....;)

Those cartoons I got were from Jason Almeida of the Vitaphone web-site.

Where did you get those Columbia cartoons?

BTW, I thought I gave you prints of "Cubby's World Flight" & "The Bandmaster." What happened? Did you lose them?

No Pietro, There was a 1930 Krazy Kat cartoon also titled "The Bandmaster relased a year before the Oswald cartoon of the same name.

Jason(from Vitaphone) sent me a brand new restored print of "Cubby's World Flight" as a surprise.

Hi Nelson~

Congratulations on acquiring all the toon rarities...!!!

Curiosity is getting the best of me on this... I've had prints of the Harman-Ising/Van Buren toons "Gay Gaucho", "Cubby's World Flight" and even the unreleased "Mischievous Mice" for a number of years... Soooooo my question is HOW is "Cubby's World Flight" restored????

I've heard that Bosko Video released a Cubby the Bear tape
a few years back including "World Flight," a fully restored
print. So my guess is that Jason (from the Vitaphone website) bought this.
