Well, tonight it's all over. I was just wondering if anyone had any brilliant ideas about the killer before it airs in about an hour and a half. I have no idea who the killer is, but am just dying to find out. Also, i suppose we could use this as a feedback thread after it actually does air. I couldn't find the original, so i just posted this instead.

Getting kinda back on topic: I do think it was cool how some of the other characters were murdered too. Like Thibadoux (sp?) and that older woman. Throws out a few more plot twists as well as cutting down on possible suspects.

Well, i'm hyped!

Well, I watched it, but I missed the last 5 shows, so a lot of the stuff I saw tonight was like "Huh??" to me. To cut a long story short, we just moved and hadn't gotten the TV reception fixed until a few days ago.

I thought the ending was pretty cool. What would have been really cool though, would be if the bodies of the detectives who "died" would have shown up somewhere. I mean, the killer got them too!

But all and all, i'd say it was a pretty good ending to a pretty good show.

Well, i don't know if it was good writing, or bad, but the final two suspects were the reporter (Kovich, maybe?) and Lambert. These two were both pretty much red herrings. But...

Lambert was the killer!!!

It turns out that he was the son of the Burnt Man, and was killing the townsfolk in revenge for what they did to his family. The Burnt Man's family was murdered in a fire because of some brotherhood type thing that was the OSL (or something). I don't remember some of the stuff, but maybe someone else could help you out more.

Like I said, I missed 5 shows in a row! :(

Lambert was the crook? Now that I look back on it I can see where it came from. Damn - I was hoping they'd through in a wrench at the end. Who was the winning investigator?

It came down to Angel and Alan. They both thought Kovic was the killer, but because Jeff was the lifeguard the day before, he picked Alan, which gave him the choice of who to follow. So by default, Angel had to go after Lambert. I think the winner deserved more than $250,000 though. Going through that show couldn't have been easy.

Yeah, that's basically the idea. I'm not sure of all the details, but I'll try and fill in a little bit more. Remember the DuChampe family - the one that supposedly went down with the boat? Turns out they didn't. They were part of this secret society - the OSL (can't remember what the heck OSL stood for now). During the last two episodes, the investigators first found an old painting, and inside the painting was an old picture of the DuChampe family - 9 of 'em, with the youngest boy's head circled. Later they find a vault at the site of one of the final clues, and inside the vault they discover 8 bodies - the DuChampes, minus one: the little boy. Turns out the little boy was the Burnt man - this secret society murdered his family by tieing them up and leaving them to burn to death in a fire. He escaped during the fire, and that's how he got burnt. As an adult, he made a tape for his then young child, telling the story of what happened. This child was Lambert. So, after seeing the story of what happened, Lambert took it on himself to seek revenge for his family - by killing the descendents of the other families that were involved in the OSL and the killing. Each of the victims was one of these descendents.

Hope that helps!

The OSL stood for the "Order of the Scarlett Movement" if I'm not mistaken.

Can someone please answer my question? Who were those guys in suits who were sweeping the town with brooms in the first few episodes??

They were "The Sweepers". I also missed the episode where they explained them, but from what I gather, they were some sort of religious cult.
