Hi, y'all. I realize it's been a while since I've posted here or even lurked. Hopefully, that's about to change. As soon as I can figure out a way to stretch my time just a little bit more, I'll be here more regularly. The reason I'm here is to research the origins of the Six Door Hallway Gag. You know what I mean; the gag --- created I think by Avery --- wherein chars chase each other in one door & out another, the results becoming progressively more ludicrous. Afaik it was first used by Avery in the first Screwy Squirrel cartoon, but I'd appreciate a bit of clarification. When was it first used, & when was the first time it was used in a Warner cartoon? Thanks for your help.
