View Full Version : Your first Batman action figure...
My first Batman figure was LASER BATMAN from the Batman Returns line, I bought it after I saw BATMAN (1989) on TV.
In Germany Batman Returns figures were only available in TRU stores as exclusives and the only figures they had were Laser Batman, Deep Dive Batman, Arctic Batman, The Penguin, Catwoman, Robin, and Penguin Commandos. Thank god it changed when BTAS came out. My first BTAS figure was Combat Belt Batman (of course :) )

The quick change Batman from the MOTP line. So late to start collecting, yet I was able to get the majority of the figures from the whole line...

I'm not sure exactly which one, but it was from "Batman" the 1989 movie. I had many Batman repaint toys from that movie. I also remember having a Bruce Wayne toy that turned into Batman with clip on clothes. It was from either "Batman" or "Batman Returns."

My first Batman toy was based on the 1960's tv series. It stood about a foot tall, had magnets in the feet and hands, and had a retractable string (or rope or cable, I'm not sure)that had a bat grappling hook on it. It also had a utility belt with some functioning devices, but I can't remember what they were (it was a long time ago).

Well, i'm not a real toy collecter or anything, so i've only got a couple Batman toys. My first was the BTAS one. Gadget Belt, or something. It just looked the most like how he did in the show.

My first batman figure was a plain black Batman from the Batman Returns line. He's still in pretty good condition. aside from his weapons (which include a gun that shoots out 2 different objects..)

I think mine was from the Super Powers line as well. I had the Batman, Superman, Robin, Joker, Penguin w/ multi-colored umbrella, Riddler (can someone tell me why his weapon was a page of riddles???) and the Joker van.
Ah memories.

I had the Mego 8" Batman with the removable mask. My brother had Robin. After a while, all I had was a Batman with a mask and Robin's green shorts.:D

My first Batman figure was the Penguin... then I bought Batman. Weird, huh? :/ I also bought a bunch of the big things (Bruce Wayne's car, Batmobile, Wayne Manor, etc.) with the Batman figure.

my little brother's first Batman figure was Combat Belt Batman from BTAS. I bought it from him a few years later. Then I started collecting BTAS. I just finished my collection last month.

The Combat Belt Batman and the Laughing Gas Joker (I think that's what he was called--the first Joker) from the B:TAS line. I thought the sculpts captured the design and look of the characters from the cartoon series perfectly--I knew that I had to get them all.

im not sure which my first actual batman toy was, since i had many of the old super powers or whatever that old line was called back in the early 80s, and out of the movie toys, i'm sure my firsts were batman and the joker from the first movie. but i actually remember the first btas toys i got, well me and my brother got. it was the two-face figure and the penguin figure. they kicked *****$. i remember the only ones released at that time was combat belt batman, twoface, penguin, and the riddler, maybe another kind of batman, but those were the only 3 villians. i was alittle confused why the joker wasnt one of the first villian toys, cause i would have got him first. oh well. those were my first.

my first batman toy was the blue and dark blue batman who came with a small back pack that let him climb up things. he would go up when you pulled down on the string coming out of the bottom of the back pack

My first Batman 'figure' was also the 9" Mego Batman w/Removable mask (it was fun to switch masks with Spiderman to create an evil 'decoy' Batman/Spiderman) from the early 70's or around there. But my first Batman 'toy' was the mego 'Exploding Bridge' playset which included a batmobile, Batman and Robin, as well as Joker and Penguin. It was sooooo cool! 'course being a child when I owned it it only lasted a few weeks before it was trashed, but that's what toys are for!
