I've been wondering and maybe you guys can help me. How exactly does Rescue Yukina stack up to the series? Better :D or worse :( ? I was wondering whether it was worth the money or not.

Better. The fights aren't nearly as dragged-out, and has some good comedy. The Dark Tournament as a whole is great, but it's long, and the first DVD ends on a pretty bad cliffhanger.

YYH keeps getting better and better so I would think Yukina and Dark Tournament must be really good. The begining really wasn't all that good. Then the episodes with the artifacts were a little better, then the Genkai tournament was pretty good, and now the Four Saint Beasts is really interesting. You should watch the Suzuka fight straight through (like they did with the YYH marathon). I would do that except for my refusal to buy any DVDs.

Let me clear something up.
Suzuka is from Outlaw Star.
Suzaku is From Yu Yu Hakusho.

I personally own 56 anime DVDs, I don't see why you should refuse them. The first season of YYH, which includes Rescue Yukina (but not Dark Tournament Begins), runs for 75 bucks. THREE DOLLARS PER EPISODE to watch any episode completely uncut whenever you feel like.

Unfortunetly I have to work hard to earn money so I can get a car. Now if you would like to leave your mansion and let me borrow your Lexus, I'll go get the box set DVDs of Yu Yu Hakusho and Outlaw Star
Do I hear the sound of no one caring? :p

Not he smallest violin was actualy popularized by Sam and Max
the scene was when they were deciding where to throw a ticking bomb so they wouldn't hurt anyone they loved or cared baout, they decided to drop it on a crowded city street because it was full of strangers...
The someone goes up to their office and says: SOME MAD MAN HAS JUST DROPPED A BOMB AND CAUSED AN EXPLOSION!
Max says: wait lemme play the worlds smallest violin
Then the guy says wait what violin, I don't see any violin, DON'T YOU CARE?!
Sam says: sorry can't help ya right now we're on union break
Max then says: boy you're a swift one...
then the guy leaves
Then Max asks Sam if they really do belong to a union, Sam answers that's only to turn stupid people away...
or so the legend goes...

You can save all your money for a car. I got my anime collection with only putting aside three or four dollars a day. Either way, I see where you're coming from, you just want to earn your car. I guess I'd just rather put a few dollars a day aside and watch some anime rather than drive ASAP.

WHAT??? On DVD? S1 boxset I heard of runs for 99 bucks if you want it uncut, and $79 cut. Even the uncut videos run for $79. And it's not going to be released until 1/14.
But if you know of a way to get the uncut DVDs for $75, please share your knowladge. Saving an extra 25 bucks would really be great. thanks in advance.

It's not hard to find on sale. Yes, it does retail for 99 bucks, but even RightStuf has it presale for 75.

Wow! That's a really great bargain, but alas I do not have access to a credit card at the moment... :( King Koopa, do you think they'd sell the Set for that low at a regular place like Best Buy?

Can you get a debit card (acts just like a credit card but the money is deducted from your checking account) or something like a VisaBuxx card (a debit card for 13 & up's)

Ummm, I hate to tell you this but you got ripped off. I got my uncut eps of YYH, Rescue Yukina and Dark Tournment for only 20 bucks each. Anyway, getting back to the topic at hand, since everyone here seems to be on a 'lets be jerks and insult each other mood'. Both DVDs rule! The fights are fantastic, there are some funny moments/lines, and we get to see Koenma in his alternet form (though I'm personally looking foward to the ep when we see Kurama's other form! :D ). So my advice would be to buy them. Heck, I got the release date for the next two already written down in my day planner. :D

I got Rescue Yukina and Dark Tournament Begins for 16 bucks each uncut, it's not hard to find them cheap.
