When I captured the video, I did it at a really high bitrate (I think it turned out to be around 40 megs for just the 10 sec. clip), so the picture would be super-sharp, took some screencaps, and just messed around with Ulead GIF Animator (shameless plug) until I got the file size & speed that I wanted. It took a couple of days, though. And thank you very much, by the way. :)

You're quite right. This av comes from DIC's latest Gadget series. When DIC became part of Disney's Buena Vista International, apart from the live action Gadget movie and its sequel (neither of which I really want to think about) they made a TV movie with him called 'Inspector Gadget's Last Case' in which they gave him a bit of a makeover. Now DIC is again independant from / unanswerable to Disney they've continued with the more up-to-date version of Gadget for their new series.

I actually think he looks cuter this way but there again I am an incurable Gadget-a-holic ^V^ ... sorry for the ramble
