According to Comics Continuum, things may be safe for Batman: Gotham Adventures for the foreseeable future. Batman: Gotham Adventures artist Tim Levins revealed that he will be co-plotting yet more issues of the series, including the big 50th issue with writer Scott Peterson. Peterson has been on since issue #15.
The 50th issue will focus on Catwoman, according to Levins. Catwoman was last seen in issue #24, one of the most acclaimed issues of the series.
Gotham Adventures may have a tough time ahead. Batman Beyond and Superman Adventures books have been canceled and Gotham Adventures' sales have slumped mainly due to the fact that there is currently no tie in series.
Levins also mentioned that there has been no talk of cancellation as of yet, though rumor has it that 2002 may be the final year for the popular series.
