How do you get the case? I was in Gamestop after calling around to see if they had Justice League and one of them had it. Unfortunately, they only had the DVD without the case so I refused it (I figured I would try to save money and get Justice League for less than $14.99. Oh well).

If I did buy it though, is there a place you could go to or write to in order to get the DVD case (and labels of course)?

I don't think so. You'd probably have to get a loan of the case from someone else and then scan it. Actually, as Justice League is a WB title and therefore bound to be packaged in a horrible snapper, making your own keepcase would be preferable :)
That said, I don't think it's acceptable for DVDs to be sold without a case, no more than it would be for a book to be sold with the cover torn off. The only place I've ever seen a caseless DVD was in a second hand store - and there was a $10 discount on it because of the fact.

I've seen Our Price do caseless. In fact I bought The Five Doctors caseless from the branch landside at London Stansted Airport!

Our Price do that?
They don't have any stores over here, but I couldn't see myself buying a caseless disc if they did

If you buy a DVD without the case...
be prepared for it to have lots of scratches.
And if the DVD has lots of scratches...
It probably won't play in the player.
And if it won't play in the player...
you'll probably want to get it returned.
And if you want to get it returned...
that means you'll probably want to buy another one.
And if you want to buy another one...
you'll probably also want to buy it cheap.
And if you really want to buy it cheap...
You'll probably settle for a used one.
And if you settle for a used one...
you might end up buying one without the case.
If you buy a DVD without the case...

If you buy a DVD without a case be prepared that it may be a bootleg.

There are some websites that sell the cases for DVD's. Try searching in Google for "DVD cases" or something like that. One thing is that you have to make you own cover art. I bought some a while ago and it's taking me forever to make and print out artwork.

Well, neh! To all of you! Mine worked fine, it came in a jewel case and was an original - Our Price I believe is now owned by Virgin or another big company so it's quite legit. I miss the case though!

Just an update: I went ahead and bought Justice League at Best Buy for $14.99 though there were others marked at $17.99(Gamestop was offering it for $9.99 without the case).

Thanks for the info. everyone.
