Fox Kids to air on other stations in some markets

The switching of networks begins on Sept 17, at least in the NY/NJ area. UPN 9 will be showing FOX Kids from 2-4 pm.

Oooo, I was just going to post that, LOL. Actually, I think it does include weekends too. Fox Kids on UPN9, hmmm.... Well, this is all a result of News Corp. buying Chris-Craft Stations. Most Chris-Craft stations were UPN affliates and since FOX affliates were upset with Fox Kids' ratings, they decided to switch them over to the UPN affliates. There are alot of changes beginning to News Corp.'s New York/New Jersey stations, WNYW and WWOR. There are ALOT of syndicated programs switching networks. So, now WWOR has Disney's One Too and Fox Kids.

I did read in my local newspaper that Fox Kids moving to some UPN affliates stations was forthcoming, but I didn't know this soon. Also, I read that for 2002, FOX affliates may drop the 10 PM newshour and expand original programming to 11 PM because the News Corp owned UPN affliates already have news there. Another idea was to have FOX News Channel news on News Corp. owned UPN affliates and FOX launching a morning news show like NBC's Today on FOX affliates.
