Hi! I'm not Harl.
However, in her absence, a problem has arisen that the moderators feel should be addressed. The more the ToonZone Boards expand, the wider variety of users we get. Unfortunately, some of those new users may be accustomed to other Internet forums, where the rules diverge a bit from ours.
Please, guys--we don't want derrogatory comments. No one said anything terrible, and no poster insulted or flamed any other poster directly. But just the general tone and theme of some members' posts has been rather unpleasant. Radical political ideas, rude insulting of TV shows / movies that other posters enjoy, mocking of the forum itself (which most of us hold very highly), and other such will not be tolerated in the future. Sarcasm and complaining have their place here, to be sure, but we don't want this to become Usenet. We want to maintain an overall cheerful, friendly atmosphere.
Please take note, and choose your words carefully in the future. Thanks.
