That's great Matthew! All of the animation Disney Treasure sets are great for one's DVD collection. Look into getting the Ub Iwerks DVDs, and Bob Clampett's Beany & Cecil collection too.

You should also add the Fleischer collection "Somewhere in Dreamland"

I have Greatest Chases on VHS, and it's a really good set, except for the edits in The Little Orphan.

Congrats on the DVD player though. I've been really thinking of getting one.

The nice thing about those, is that I think there's some way that you can hack them to play region 2 DVD's.

I know it's not classic, but I do recommend the "Simpsons" DVDs.

I recemmend you getting Mickey Mouse in Black in White for three reasons:

1. Steamboat Willie is uncut with the "pig teat" scene intact.
2. Mickey Steps out is uncut with Pluto saying "Mammy!" while he's in blackface.
3. The ending to Pioneer Days where Mickey and Minnie scare off the Indians by pretending to be the calvery is restored. Judging by what I've read at the Disney Encyclopedia website, this ending hasn't been seen in decades.

The Mickey B&W set is also worth it for the hidden "Minnie's Yoo Hoo" video. It's really weird and worth looking for. The DVD features a very nice print, with only a few frames being in awful condition.

Here's some DVDs worth getting:

Behind the Scenes at Disney Studios (VERY COOL!)
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Dumbo
Yellow Submarine
Somewhere In Dreamland

And some non-animation DVDs, but still cool:

Citizen Kane
North By Northwest
Young Frankenstein
The Producers
