i have most of the home movies episodes on tape. if i was to show someone the show for the first time, whats a good introduction episode? :coach:

Edit: I should've given this topic a more specific title.
Fixed it. -Joe

If they're Dr. Katz fans (like me), I would pick "Mortgages and Marbles", but for the average person, probably "The Party".

It depends. If they really love the type of humor that, I think, made Home Movies great in the first place, I would go with a season one episode like "Rabies." However, if it's someone who really hasn't had any exposure to that kind of humor, you may want to start with something like "The Party" or "Shore Leave."

Good luck on the conversion!:melissa:

Definetly Shore Leave. I think everyone has some experience with a creepy guy like Fenton. Maybe Renaiscance or Bad Influences. I think that the Season three episodes are more accessible to people, but I personally enjoy season two a lot more. Hiatus is a good introductory one as well.

I'd definitely go with History. It just seems to put everything else in perspective.

I would say either "Mortgages and Marbles" or "I Don't Do Well in Parent Teacher Conferences." Those were the first 2 episodes I showed to my friends.
