Inspired by a thread in another forum about Marvels preformance for the year I thought I'd look back at the year that was for various publishers...
For me, I went into 2002 only reading 2 regular Marvel series (ASM & Avengers) and came out reading the same (although I have been chasing up trades of Thor). DC on the other hand, I started 2002 reading only JLA...and now have picked up Birds of Prey, Batman, Aquaman and sadly Supergirl (returned with #75) and looking over the list for next year will be spending getting a whole bunch more. As for others, I continue to buy a heap of Crossgen (although now my money goes into the electronic versions and trades), some DHC...Buffy and Star Wars: Empire..as well as a bunch of more esoteric titles like Nodwick, PvP & Knights of the Dinner Table.
Thus overall the year has been pretty flat re:Marvel with me. Who knows what next year holds though.
