I heard that the new YYH eps will be starting January 13th. The guy who told me seemed positive but I'd like to know if anyone can confirm this.

We can't confirm or deny this, because nobody knows. The series will ALMOST definately start again from the beginning, but we can't be certain.

If Cn were to have a press release concerning Inu Yasha and Yu Yu Hakusho episodes, when do you think they would do it? It's getting very close to January........

They didn't announce Inuyasha until 2 weeks before it aired.

They wouldn't, they don't give press releases for new seasons or schedules unless their very important like a new season of DBZ or a big schedule change.

It seems the logical thing to do here is to start all the series from the beginning simply because the new schedule - especially when it includes a mainstream series like Furutrama - will attract a whole new audience, and by putting everything on from the start can only help ease these viewers into non-episodic series like Yu Yu Hakusho more.
And when you consider that, at 4 episodes a week, it will only take about 1 1/2 to 2 months to air all of the Yu Yu Hakusho and InuYasha episodes that have aired so far, there's really no reason not to start from the beginning. So you gotta' believe this is what CN will do. Not that they haven't defied logic before, though...

According to Cartoon Network's online schedule, look's like Yu Yu Hakusho will start with Yusuke's Sacrifice and InuYasha with episode 23 on Jan. 13th. I guess that answer's your question.

Drats! Oh well, maybe it's the right thing to do like Escaflowne Pilot pointed out for the newer audiences that will likely watch the block for the first. Hopefully afterwards we'll see some new episodes! Let's hope!

So Inuyasha will continue on with new episodes when the Weekday schedule kicks in? Cool!
As for YYH, I wish it's future wasn't so uncertain.

Yesssssssssss! (Just noticed the updated schedule)
Here we come Rin, Sango, Kouga, and all of Naraku's minions!!!! On a sadder note, looks like we'll have to go through YYH again, but we'll get new eps eventaully.

So that means we're gonna have to go through about, oh, say, 8-9 weeks before we get to new shows? Oh well, that's a little bit after my birthday... I can handle it.

Has anyone seen any real advertising for Futurama?? I sure havnt -- makes me think that ifyour just a regular person who dosnt hunt down info on Futurama your not gonna know and that wouldnt help out CN...like some would want to believe.
CN shoudl really take advantage of the AOL TW Family and start getting in things in Time Mag, CNN, TNT, TBS, WB and such....

Futurama ads are in Entertainment Weekly.
As far as TV advertising goes, there are still four and a half weeks left until Futurama's premiere.
I wouldn't be surprised if CN starts advertising this week, but if you consider that CN has never advertised an AS show more than two weeks in advance, things aren't that hopeful.
At the very least, the New Years Eve marathon will mention Futurama.
