Kingdom Come, isit worth it?

I found the Kingdom Come comic book for close to $20. Is it worth it? I hear it was a fantastic story, but it's a comic book. Is it worth the price? Is the art good? Any input would help.

It is definatly worth it! I live in Canada so I had to pay a bit more, but I didn't regret it. I still read the thing alot and just gaze at the art. GET IT!!

It's painted by Alex Ross. Good story, fantastic art. I bought it when it was coming out in installments.

I guess I got lucky cause the copy I got was 14.95 at Media Play, worth every penny too. I love Ross' art, and the new heroes are really well done. The story is great, and it's cool to see older versions of our present day heroes... that and the Fat Albert cameo in Gotham City:D

Kingdome Come is totally worth it. The story, the art work...both very impressive. Like DG, I have also reread it several times and many times just flip through it to admire the art work.

I is, by far, one of the most human stories told about superheroes. It really emphasizes the HUMAN in superhuman.

The fight scene between Superman and Shazam is worth the price tag.You can feel the pain as you see these two duke it out. Man-go get it!!

Buying KINGDOM COME was one of the smartest purchases I ever made. It's probably my favorite comic book story ever.
