How did you guys do on your finals?

Well, becuase 2 exams were cancelled last week due to weather, I'll finish them this week. These 2 exams are the only I really care about, Government and Economics.

The other exams I took were pointless and stupid. Man I hate General Education classes. . Oh well. Since they were General Education, I'm sure everyone does good on them :) .

Math - surprisingly easy

History - Good God almighty......I don't wanna know about this one...

Acting - That one's in the bag ;)

Spanish - It was open-book, and it was easy.

Communications - I'll tell you tomorrow.

I don't know how well (or awful) I did on my finals yet......

Well, let's see...

Organic chem - Don't know the actual mark I got on the exam, but judging by my final mark on the course, I think I did surprisingly well. ^^

Environmental chem - I did pretty well on this one.

Pathology - This one I'm worried about. I haven't got the results back for it, and even though it's just an optional course for me, it'll likely drag down my average. :(

Ecology - Don't know what I got on it yet, but it seemed like a fairly straight-forward exam.

Biochem - Taking it this Wednesday morning.

Speaking of which, I think I should go study for it now. ^^;;

I just got finished taking the online final exam for my internet class and I got a 79.9. I am VERY disapointed in this grade, because I felt I could've got something higher. Not only that, but I was .1 points from a B-....

I don't have finals till after break, sophomore in high school. But I have some predictions:

Animation: EASY! I'm already getting an A in the class. It's in the bag! :D

Intro Geometery: Going to be teadiously easy I bet. I'm too smart for an intro class but too bad in math for a general one. :p

Phsycal Science: Ick! God help me! >_< I still can't believe I'm pulling an B in that class.

Einglish: Depends on the area, we have to write a paper too, and I do fairly well in that area, I like to write. I also do well in the lituratuer area. I suck in grammer though. :p

Art Staff: No final, but they're dropping me from the class after this semster. :(

So I only have four finals, my other two periods are lunch and a study hall. :D

*dances* got my final grades online last night. 2 A's and 2 B+'s, wooo! Well, three A's if you count the A I got in piano. I'm actually pretty pleased with that because I had to perform in front of the staff, and I'm horrible when it comes to performing on piano or clarinet in front of people. Acting no prob, but on these I freak. So it was great seeing I don't suck! :p The B+'s were in Japanese and History, and the A's were in my Eng. Lit and Intro into Western Thought courses. Basically A's in courses that have something to do with my major and love, B's in the extra stuff. What's even better, dad was asking me how much he owed me--I've always gotten paid for my grades every year. I figured with college that would end, because I don't recall my sister getting money. Then again...I'm not objecting....

I only had one actual exam, which I took Monday at 8 AM.  I didn't know some of the stuff, but I talked to some of the other kids afterwards and they were really confused too, so I'm hoping that maybe it'll get scaled or something. Even without a scale I think I probably got a low B. Then I had two big papers due, one was due Wednesday and the other was due today. I probably got Bs on those. I have to admit, I couldn't really put much effort into them. I had too much other stuff to take care of and just didn't really care about the classes anymore. They were mostly attempts to just fill up the page requirements, which wasn't too easy since one was supposed to be at least 12 pages (I had to use Courier New and just barely made it) and the other was supposed to be around 9 pages. Now I'm sorta just relaxing and enjoying myself, watching TV and pigging out. :p

Well I got finals after the break and then we get for most classes 1 weeks more to study before we actully take ther finals but my predictions are:

Accounting: Not really that hard its gong to be open book and open teacher

Physics: This is going to be a tough one but if I memorize my formulas and get remember my calculator I should get at least a "C"

Finance: Probably no final but if their is it is going to be regular test length not so bad

Bible (I go to a Christian High School): I have to keep memorized like 30 verses and he will choose 10 or so for us to write out the day of the final by far the hardest final I will take

English: I do extremely well on grammar but I stink at spelling and literature. This is going to be on the hard side but I can do it and get like a "B"

Pre- Caliculus: The teacher always makes the hardest test I have ever seen for math ever she can make you fail a simple Logarithms test.

Physical Science: 93 (B), expectedly easy, but I figured I would get higher anyway.

English/World Cultures: 99 (A), this exam was strangely easy as it mainly focused on books we had read.

World Geography/World Cultures: 76 (C), ouch! I really thought this was somewhat easy but still average. I guess I guessed too much. :p

Latin I: 100 (A), all we had to do was a 20 question matching and organizing our notebook. Very easy.

Geometry: 88 (B), this was the grade I needed. I am proud now. :p

ROTC I: 100 (A), just participation in marching.

Well, based on my exam grades, I ensured myself all A's and 1 B on the semester. Hooray for me! :D

Advanced Accounting: Easy
Chemistry: Very easy
Astronomy: My hardest test, very hard
Volleyball: Yes I did have a final in this class, and it was very easy.
Teen Chalenges: Exceptionally easy
Western Civ: It wasn't hard, but it wasn't easy. This is the only one that I know my grade for right now, I got an A+ (100%) ^___^
Advanced Algebra: Easy
All in all, my finals wern't all that bad

Here are my magic predictions:

English: B (a 50 pt essay makes it easy)

Latin: A

IPS: B

Math: B/B+

History: B-/C+

Haven't exactly gotten my results back yet, but I know that I did great on all of them, that is except for one: Phys. Ed. written paper. What can I say except I wasn't well prepared for this one. I made the silly mistake of under estimating the level of difficulty for this test. Would you believe that about three fourths of the test was the labeling of different parts of the body, eg.parts of the respiratory system, the muscles of the body(and they did have some wierd names), etc. I know that that probably sounds pretty immature to all of you colledge guys and girls posting on and reading these threads

Oh and Hi everyone. I'm new as a member but definitly not new to these forums. This is only my forth post here and I'm having a great time.

By the way everything else for me should be A's and maybe a B.

Peace out! :)

I take 'em when I get back...but I got my PSAT scores back. Here are my percentile ratings: reading- better than 88% of other testers, math-better than 60% of other testers, writing-better than 94% of all other testers. since the last one doesn't count for anyhting (oh goodie the one I'm best at) I ended up with a 1200...not bad but I can do better...and will.

Well, I told y'all I'd tell you what I made on ma finals so here it is:
English II Honors: B (that's what I was expecting)
Biology I Honors: A (surprisingly)
Free Enterprise: B (I could of sworn I had an A, somethin tells me that my teacher marked off of the discussion just to lower ma grade since he enjoys failin ppl so he sez)
Spanish I: A (I'm actually good in this class but I thought fa sure I did much worse)

Well, it's not that bad plus it didn't affect my grades from changing at all.

wow. i also go to a christian high school. i didnt even have an exam. in fact, we had like two tests all year so far (open textbook tests). we never even take notes in that class. we just watch movies for no real reason. we watched "gladiator" for some reason, we saw "braveheart", and some stupid religious movies.

well, im only a sophomore, and this actually religion class, but the way i understand it it doesn't get any harder junior & senior years.

Hmmmm............ not that bad. It's a shame that you missed it by one lousy point to get a B in Biology 2 Advanced.

Well at ma school the grading scale is:
Honors Regular GPA Quality Pts
100-92 A 100-95 4.00-3.50 4
91-84 B 94-89 3.49-2.50 3
83-76 C 88-80 2.49-1.50 2
75-70 D 79-70 1.49-1.00 1
69-0 F 69-0 0.99-0.00 0

Our finals and mid-terms don't get counted as a marking period but it does show up on our quarter & final average in with the other 4 marking periods just like a marking period (just w/o a GPA) since we're now on a block schedule (which I hate! :p )

The only way you are taking the Global regents is if you failed it last june. Gee, what I have to look foward to!

Anyway, I took the Math A regents on Monday. (In NY Math is a year and a half then you take the test) So I get to start Math B next semester, which begins thursday.

My finals, this includes math :( , are in june, along with the Global and Spanish regents, and math if i failed on Mon, but that's not likely.

I only had one Midterm to take...and it was for Web Development, and since I'm a senior and had atleast an A average, I didn't have to take it. Other then that I didn't have any other tests...but the people who did got a treat when we had to evacuate the school because of a bomb scare....so the semester was extended to yesterday.
