Hellooo everyone! I have been going to the WF news site for awhile and I am really bored so I signed up for the board. :p This is going to take some getting used to. Anyways how do you get the picture under your name? I like how the smiles work. :)

As for the picture under your named (called an avatar) you have to post 10 times first. With all the different boards here - it should be no problem! Welcome to WF!!

10 Posts, 10 Days (registered) allows you to change the title underneath your name.

I suppose the titles changes with the more you post? :confused: I would have just like edited the above message but I am not sure if you can do that. I have to play around a little. I know at the DC boards you like cannot edit.

Which title? The "newbie" title? Yeah, as Bird Boy indicated, 10 posts and 10 days will let you change that.

Here you can edit your messages. Just go up to the "Edit/Delete" button above the post you want to edit and hit it. That will take you back into a composition screen and you can make the changes you want. You can try this out on "The Test Board" in the "Miscellaneous" forum. That's a hassle-free place where you can try all this stuff out. (Not that we'll hassle you around here, of course.;) )

Don't stress about this stuff. No one will give you a hard time for not knowing the ropes. Heck, a lot us still don't know a lot of the ropes. :D

Click the "edit/delete" button to edit a post :)

If you want to change your title or add an avatar, you have to be a member for 10 days with 10 posts on the boards, like other people said above.

EDIT: D'oh! Maxie beat me to it! :D There's an example of edit being used for ya.

I found the edit thingie thanks for your help. ;) I will have to scroll up and see the 10 day thingie, I just saw the 10 posts.

Ohh and it is probably in the options to not have that box checked all the time isn't it?

You can change your own title? That is soooo cool! :p I have my own ezboard and it is such a pain changing everyone's title. I make it like 30 posts per change. I am always sooo slow at doing it sometimes. I get tired of checking and stuff.

Check the "Email Notification" box under the message box when you type your post to avoid getting emails like I always do because I forget to uncheck that damn box!! Grrr..... :/

I dunno. Some of us are having real problems with "new posts" smilies and the like; you may have a glitch. Toonzone just moved servers and our administrators are working hard at getting the kinks worked out.

Now that you're at 10 posts (and have been registered for 10+ days) are you going to change your title? :)

Click on "Control Panel," way waaay way at the top, then "Edit Options," and "Edit Profile" for both your avatar and title, respectively.

The avatar is there :)

To change the title, go to "Control Panel," then "Edit Profile," then down to "Custom User Text."

Yay the title worked too. :) Granted its boring but I dunno whats allowed here or not. The one on my board is 2 lines "Sugar and Spice" And "Everything Nice" hehe I change it all the time though. It was a line from a song before that.

Hey do any of you guys know where I can get a free webspace to host pictures? First the Globe dies and then Spree follows suit. Well it all started with Geocities stopping file linking. Like whats the point if you cannot use the files?
