Fresh Question #30: Best On Screen Duo

Hello fellows and laides of the JL fan phylum, it's new Fresh Question time, so put on your thinking caps. If you don't have them, they are on sale in the lobby.

It's too easy to see that although the animated JL has taken some turns in story and character continuity, it's still been an enjoyable ride so far. I thought we may examine the particular change of each character and their interractions together to see what makes it tick. So look back at our JL episodes and tell me:

Of the animated JL characters and their interraction together, who do you think made the best pair to see on screen?? Why??

GL and Flash?
Superman and Martain Manhunter?
Hawkgirl and GL...?

I think its a toss up between batman and superman and GL and Hawkgirl. But since Bats and supes havent worked together much this season ill give it to Hawkgirl and GL. THey have great chemistry.

GL and Flash. They complete each other. John is the discipline, Flash is the humor. And it's nice to see Flash care about somebody, when he started looking for Stewart in Savage Time.

Secondly, I would've liked more Hawkgirl-Flash. Her sarcastic demeanor and his quick wit make for the funniest moments.

HawkGirl and GL. They make a great potential romantic couple.

I have to go with Flash and GL as well. The traditional Brave and the Bold. Flash and GL are their complete counterparts but at the end of the day, they will work together to save the world.

Runner up goes to Batman and Superman, the World's Finest team. Batman, the master detective, and Superman, superhero with uncanny powers.

Flash and Green Lantern. I actually like them better when they aren't arguing, believe it or not. My favorite moments between them are the one's where they're getting along as equals, as in "The Brave & The Bold", when GL sticks up for Flash at the police station, and as previously mentioned, when Flash was hell-bent on not letting John die in "The Savage Time".

The ongoing interaction between Flash and Green Lantern was one of the fine points in "Secret Origins". "The Brave and the Bold" says it better that the best duo has got to be Flash and GL. Even in episodes like "Legends", "In Blackest Night" and "The Savage Time" we see a good interaction between these two characters. :)

Gotta go with GL/Hawkgirl. They seem to have such chemistry on screen and I think there's is a friendship that has been the most focused this season. Especially since they started out really not liking each other and then it grew. And she's always been there for him, in "IN BLACKEST NIGHT" and "LEGENDS" and "METAMORPHOSIS".

I personally like Bats and Diana, cuz I think they are awesome together, but since they really haven't been in a whole ep. together, I'd have to go with my second couple, GL and Hawkgirl. They have a good give/take relationship like in "War World," "Blackest Night," "Metamorphosis," and in "Savage Time" when she saves him from the plane...I know pretty sappy, but it's nice to see...;)

Its kinda hard to call. But Im going with GL and Hawkgirl. The interaction between these two is very good and really started with the "WarWorld " episode. Second id say it was GL (again) and Flash there seems to be a pretty good relationship between the two who happen to be almost total opposites.

In season two I hope to see Batmans interactions with Superman,Wonder Woman and J'onn more.

I'd have to go with GL and Flash. In "The Savage Time" Flash was real worried about GL. And they made a good team in "The Brave and the Bold".

The DarkKnight speaketh for me-eth. For those precise reasons I throw the quirky team of Flash and GL as the most interesting so far (with Bats and WW following not far behind... just what's keeping them.. :rolleyes: )

Green Lantern and Flash. What goes on between Supes and Bats, Bats and Flash, WW and Bats, Flash and Hawkgirl and GL and Hawkgirl are all interesting, Flash and GL take the cake for me. Their constant bickering back and forth, and how opposite they are works so well, it's always enjoyable to see how they interact. A close second for me would be Flash and Hawkgirl. They're incredibly hilarious and with them sexual innuendo seems to know no bounds.
