Batman/Red Badge of Courage

Okay, so i had to do this project on THE RED BADGE OF COURAGE for English class. We video taped the last fight scene using GI Joes and toy soldiers. Also, we took off a lot of movies, like Matrix and Crouching Tiger. I suggested Batman, but my group voted me down. However, since we were a little short on time, i finally persuaded them to do it. Henry (the main character, in case you never read the book) was standing and had two dead soldiers behind him. A Confederate soldier steps into the open and says "Hey kid, you ever dance w/ the devil in the pale moon light?"

Henry says "What?"

Confederate says "It's just something i say to all my..."

And Henry knocks him out before he can finish.

It had the whole cival war drama thing going on. The two dead people behind, him are you trying to parrallel it to Bruce's parents getting killed?

Yup. The whole scene was supposed to look like the murder on Crime Alley. I know no one in my class will get the parody, but, i don't really care. I got to incorporate Batman in my project somehow, so i'm happy. And it was hard, cuz i couldn't bring myself to make anything to wacky or anything. But i think it turned out okay.
