Carl stalling and other musicians

Hi , I'm new to this site I have a specific aim in joining and that is to find out as much as i can about cartoon music. I have a copy of the CD the carl stalling project Vol. 1. I am fascinated to know any details about how the music was recorded and to find any recollections of any musicians technicians who were involved in the recording sessions. I have read of mice and men and found the detail there quite helpful but just not detailed enough. If any one has any information or possible sources , I would be extremely grateful.
