Who was your favourite guest "hero" of season one? Minne would be a toss up between Aquaman and Jason Blood. I guess in the end I'd have to go with Jason Blood because he's cool.

I was going to vote for Blood, but then I noticed that the Justice Guild were on the list, so I had to vote for them. They're hilarious!

Steve Trevor/Black Hawks/Easy Company

I love the Blackhawks and it was great to see some Wonder Woman comic book mythos brought into the show with the guest appearance of Steve Trevor. This was the best show all year and I think the guest stars made it ten times better. :)

It was a close call between the JGA and Jason Blood, but in the end I went for Jason.

The JGA. They are so awesome. I mean, yeah Black Siren didn't do much of anything that I recall, but in the words of Flash, "she was a hottie." They are so incredibly funny too. "And on a Sunday!"

"Just when someone gets close to the truth..."
"Nuns and dynamite!"

I had to go with the Guild on this one.

Savage Time did not give anyone as much time for character development

and Etrigan fails because he didn't rhyme and wasn't violent enough

Yeah, that really kind of was a reason I didn't vote for him. He's a rhyming demon, that's his best known characteristic, and they drop it. It would have really jumped him up on my list, especially since i love Etrigan's rhymes in the comic books. It would be like Zatanna not saying her spells backwards! :D

You no, him not ryming didn't really bother me. I mean, that kinda thing works in comics, but in a cartoon it probaly would have have gotten old. It would have had the chance for some dumb ryhmes too. He did ryhme once.
"Gone, gone form of man,
rise the demon within, Etrigan!"
Ohh I gotta go watch "Knight of Shadows" again just to hear him say that.

I understand why they did, that just took my vote away from him. I liked rhyming, I think it makes him unique and interesting. Non-rhyming Etrigan is just like everyone else. It's his "thing."

I understand but I just think it would be like having Zatanna not say her spells backwards or not have Wonder Woman with Bracelts and a Tiara. It's a defining characteristic for me, but I do understand and I thought he was pretty darn cool otherwise, just note vote worthy.

Aquaman made me a believer, but Etrigan was the best guest appearance. And I'm glad he didn't rhyme. That would've been brutal. Looking forward to Aquaman's return and Etrigan.

Perhaps Season 2 will treat us to either the Sandman or the Spectre.

I'm disappointed the Wonder Twins weren't included in this poll. :p :D

Because who would vote for a statue that got blown up two seconds after appearing? :D

Wonder twin, funny. :D Speaking of my poll Choices, I have no idea what possesed me to put Solavar on the poll. Maybe I was under Grodd's control.

and what about Snapper Carr?? doesn't he count?

anyway Solavar is a legitimate candidate
but I would have included Queen Hippolyta as well
she has been in the most episodes

I disagree. I think its just a case of the writers being too lazy
Good Rhyming doesn't get old. just ask any Dr Suess fan :)
remember that is the original Kirby chant spell from Merlins Eternity Book. etrigan was more beastial until alan moore made him into the Rhymer he is now.
blood and etrigan are supposed to be two different beings
but here it sounds like Blood as both
rhyming made etrigan more of a different character and there wasn't that much dialog anyway

I meant that bad ryming would have gotten old not good ryming. Rereading my post I realize tht it did kinda come across like I meant ryming as a whole would have gotten old. Snapper Carr, isn't a "hero" in the sense of the word as the others on the list. I did almost put Hippolyta, but I couldn't remember how to spell her name. :D

You just did. :D

But about the Etrigan thing. I think rhyming would have seriously gotten on my nerves. I've never read his comics and the only other time I've seen him was in The Demon Within on TNBA. He barely spoke at all there, and if he did it was mostly one-liners. Unless he makes A LOT of speeches in his apperance on BTAS, I'm guessing Timm and Co. don't care much for rhyming either. Or at least, it was fun the first time, and it got old later.

Really, rhyming kind of dumbs down the character, IMHO. He can't convey thoughts half as well as he could using plain prose. They'd be difficult to decipher and wouldn't fit in with the situation. Tphile mentioned Dr. Seuss. Well I can't think of two things more different that Dr. Seuss and Justice League. I mean, I'm going to seriously have to reconsider watching the series the day the Cat in the Hat guest stars. :)

Solovar's a valid guest star. So is Snapper Carr, seeing as how he is an "honorary" member in the comics.

I voted for Jason. It's got to be because it was nice to see him again after his Batman ep. Didn't think he'd turn up again

I copied the spelling off tphile's post :D

Etrigan. But Aquaman's episode was also very interesting, especially the part with his hand. And Metamorpho was fun.

The rest of the guests weren't given enough air-time to make much of an impact on me.

Yes, but who was your favorite? :D

We can all say who we hate, but that's a different bag of worms altogether.

So, what guest star did you like? :D:D:D

Harvey Dent

King Orin was my favorite, even though I still prefer the orange shirt. :p

Well I loved Metamorpho, but the heroes of WWII are indeed a very close second.

I had a toss up b/t Aquaman and Entrigan, but I went with Entrigan cuz he's assoc. with my fav. character, Bats. I just saw TNBA "Demon Within" and I gotta say I liked the Billy Zane Entrigan better. I don't know why, but the JL one was brash and harsh. I know he's a demon and all but I guess JL Enty rubbed me the wrong way...

I'm with you Batswonderlove, I dispise Trevor also;)!

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree with you. I did not like the TNBA Etrigan at all. I liked the JL version much better. I think it captured the spirit of the character better. I loved the voice actor(not sure who did it) a lot better as well. He seemed to fit the character much better.

Jason Blood and Etrigan were my favorite guests! ^_^ I agree with The DarkKnight; the JL Etrigan was much closer to what the character has traditionally been and IMO also a more enjoyable character to watch. Team conflict, yay! ^_^

And even then Etrigan was definitely toned down from the comics version. He was pure evil.
