View Full Version : Static Shock: It's Been Confirmed!

Well everyone's been wondering when the third season of Static Shock was going to start up again. Is it going to be in January? Will it be in February? Well now it's been confirmed...it will be in JANUARY!! Yaaah!! This is great news for Static fans out there. Also, we should be getting an exact date within a week or three.

The Season Premeire of "Static Shock" will be the episode with Batman everyone has been looking forward to! This is jolly good news!

Well, it has been done before during season 2 when Bats met Static in Dakota. Now in season 3 Bats meets Static again and this time it is in Gotham. Oh, Static also meets the JL in a two parter.

And what is so wrong with Static meeting Batman.

I mean Alan Burnett who has worked with Batman,Superman and BB is now working on Static. Also working on Static this season is John Semper who has worked on Spiderman TAS.

That's quite an impressive line-up.

I might actually check this show out when it premieres next.. :)

My personal opinion simply is that a character and general universe like Static Shock's simply does not mesh with Batman and DC Comics characters. The Batman cartoons of the 90s were pretty dark for their kid friendly constraint...... Static isn't.

MattThomasM2B you probably never read the comic "Static". Before you judge a character on a cartoon you must read the real thing. In the comics and cartoon Static rocks, it's just we can't see some of the darker side of Static cause of KWB :(

Why don't you do the boards a favor and get a cyanide capsule? You probably don't even watch the show, or else you'd have seen the episode and known how good it turned out.

So I guess that means the second season will be rerunning sometime before January? There should be enough episodes for a weekday run.

From what I heard Static is getting a Darker Tone this season so maybe we'll finally get to see that darker side of Static that everyone has been talking about.

My Sentiments Exactly. Now That Yu-Gi-Oh! Got A Bit More Filler-Ish, I've Been Sleeping In On Sat. Mornings. But With The Battle City Tournament And Static's New Season, I'll Have A Reason To Wake Up On Saturdays. (But, Darn, If Digimon Frontier Had Aired On Fox, I Would Have Cared About Both The SAM Lineup And The Show Itself, Which I Am SO Prone To Missing I Have Yet To See An Episode Since The Second One)

Well it looks I've got something else to look forward to as well as Star Trek Nemesis. I'm so excited about this...can't stress it enough.

Any idea what kind of time slot it's gonna get? I watched Static when it came out later, but when it got moved earlier, I couldn't get myself to wake up. :(

No clue yet, but it's gonna be on Saturday mornings.
