The only station I saw this show on was YTV, a Canadian channel that mostly plays programming for kids. It was a half hour show featuring animation from around the world.

Some of the segments were:
- Kenny McTickle and His Magic Kilt
- Murun Buchstansanqur
- Beule Beul Ermite (by far the weirdest cartoon I've ever seen!)
- Wooly the Wonder Sheep
- Attack of the Aromic Banana
- Thunderpants (Thundercats parody, kinda like Ripping Friends)
- The Amazing Adventures of Morph
- Pzycho the Magnificent
- Botman (Batman parody)
- The Oddbods
- True Romance
- Wee Man and the Masters of the Looniverse (He-Man parody)
- Vegetables
- Doc Croc's Nursery Spot
- Fatman (Batman parody)
- Nursery Crimes
- Old Age Useless Nitwit Tortoises
- Fairy Tales of the Unexpected
- O.A.P. Man and the Pensioners of the Looniverse (He-Man parody)
- Cosmic Comprehensive, The Intergalactic Academy
- Tommy's Magic Time Trousers
- Teenage Mutant Hero Toilets (funnily enough, the narrator says Teenage Mutant Ninja Toilets)
- False Teeth From Beyond the Stars
- Transformabots (Transformers parody)

I decided to list a bunch to possibly jog some memories. A lot of the content was British, especially with names like Botman and Transformabots. ;) If any of you Brits remember some of these, your input would be great! :D

I think I've seen the bannana one. Did it have a giant bannana punching a building?

Yes, building smashing was part of it. I believe it was awoken in a desert by atomic tests, à la Godzilla. :p Later on, there was a spinoff called False Teeth From Beyond the Stars Meet AtomBanana. The whole thing is in claymation and has a news reporter giving updates throughout.
