As MUCH as I love Mr. Freeze and so happy that he won BB:TWL i don't want the games turning out to be either 'Bruce Wayne' or 'Mr. Freeze' winning it. It is Terry's turn. (M'Ral's right!)

Mr Freeze versus Terry...hmmmm....

I've never liked Terry. He stumbled into a legacy that wasn't his. He could fly, electrocute and render himself invisible. He had every solution at his disposal, and yet he still managed to mess up 90% of the time. To top it off, he lived in futuristic world seen from a teenage point of view, and fought teenage posers with little or no talent, skills or motives. Terry did, however have a good sense of humour, and taste in women. He was courageous and remorseful, and brought life back into Bruce's existance.


Freeze was a head who gained a body. A criminal and murderer who received a second chance and used it to do good....until someone tried to cook him. Then, he put on a suit, threw away all his positive attitude and inexplicably killed. It really made no sense. Then he suddenly decided he didn't mind the thought of dying and committed suicide. :confused: He returned to his evil ways because someone tried to kill him, and then he killed himself? :confused: Really doesn't make too much sense. On the flip side though, this character really came alive in B:TAS, and even though it's the BB version I'm voting for, it's hard not to recall his B:TAS version.

I need to think.

One episode versus 50 episodes.

A hero versus a villain.

Freeze's condition affected his emotions in addition to his body. He was cold-hearted, didn't care about anything. For fifty years (I'm assuming on the time period) he sat in a vault, thinking about death and getting more and more depressed. It consumed him.

Then, he was given a second chance. All those lost emotions were brought back to him. He could feel pain, sorrow, joy, and compassion. For the first time, he felt bad about his past deeds, and correcting those deeds felt good. His compassion manifested towards Dr. Lake, his savior.

Next, the regression set in. Dr. Lake attempted to kill Victor to further her career. It wasn't just "someone tried to cook him," it was his object of affection spurning him in the most ultimate way possible. The anger he felt over that, combined with his resurfacing cold-heartedness, sparked his turnaround.

Now, Freeze was back. He didn't care anymore, and he wanted revenge, wanted to make Lake hurt as much as she had hurt him. This he did, but then he remembered how bad he used to feel about his evil actions. This made his depression resurface, made stronger by the fact that Freeze could never be normal again. He had had enough of his cold life, and he wanted to end it. He spared Batman in the end because Terry had been the only one to always look out for him.

Now, on the subject of this Survivor thread, I say Terry should win.
