Hobgoblin, Mysterio, Shocker, Kingpin, Vulture, Beetle, Lizard, Hammerhead, Scorpion, and Kraven are all Batmanish type villians. None of these guys have super powers and use gimicks like Hobgoblin and his bombs. Batman would easily lock them away in Arkham if they ever visited Gotham.

Green Goblin has super strength, would be a pest, but would lose to Batman.

Venom and Carnage, if Batman didn't figure out using loud noise would defeat them, they'd kill him.

What's this Batman/Spider-Man you speak of? I read one that had Talia in it but I don't remember Carnage.

Wouldn't it be fun to watch Spider-Man battle Arcane? They both have a Spider-connectin.

Black Cat better than Catwoman? No, not last time I checked.

Let's see Black Cat had some strength and ability till Dr. Strange took it away from her. Sure she can give you bad luck if you hang around her long enough, but what makes her better than Catwoman?

The only thing Black Cat has going for her is Terry Dodson

Catwoman is smarter, faster, and a better fighter. She was created first and Black Cat is just Marvel trying to cash in something DC did right and did first.

Sure Black Cat has a good story, it's just better told by Catwoman.

Maybe if Black Cat got turned into a black cat and made savage she'd be better or be her own person.

I read that, I think he used a special batarang or something that emitted a piercing sound that defeated them. Or else my imagination is getting the better of me. :p

Heyyyyy, I like Black Cat, but I like that Last Cat Standing in the new Wizard even more. Catwoman vs. Black Cat. It was hilarious.

I think Spidey would own Bane. Ivy, Catwoman, and Joker are too cunning to go down easily. I could easily see them either beating Spidey or if they lost easily escaping.

Spidey would mop the floor with the Arkham gang. The only ones who would stand a chance are the ones who are, and I hate to use this word, metahumans. Now that I think about it, Mr. Freeze would decimate Spider-Man.

Spidey beat The Joker. Again it was in Spider-man/Batman. It was a team up of the Joker and Carnage and everybody swapped. It had awesome pencils from Mark Bagely. There was a 2nd team up between them and they fought Kingpin/ Ra's Al Guhl but it wasn't as good.

in Batman/Spidey, Carnage was beaten by Batman, after the Joker had diverted his attention...putting the fear of death into Cletus. That bought Batman enough time to take down Cletus w/ some wicked martial arts akshun!!!

someone claimed the Lizard was a Killer Croc rip-off. It's the other way around. The Lizard is one of the O.G. villains from the days of Stan Lee & Ditko. I believe he 1st appeared in ASM#7 or something in that range. Croc didn't come around til the 80s I believe. He's one of the new-school Bat-villains. And for what it's worth, The Lizard is far more boss than Croc. I love the whole Lizard-Connors dynamic. And the Lizard is pretty damned vicious.

In keeping with the Spidey-Batman xover theme, here are the tandems I'd love to see.

Mysterio & The Riddler
BANE & Kraven (DAAAAAAAAYUM!!!)
The Scarecrow & The Hobgoblin

It was I who claimed the Lizard was a Killer Croc rip-off. I'll admit I am severly lacking in Marvel history and even more severely lacking in DC eighties history. My main point in saying it though was that they were both simialer and that Batman would take down the Lizard.

Frank how would Spidey own Bane? He'd look at him like he was a WWF wrestler, lock up with him and then Bane would crush him. Well I think the venom raving maniac Bane would crush Spidey. Now he would just out think him. He is from the same stuff that made Batman after all.

So you saying Spidey would underestimate Bane? Maybe. But I think Spidey has enough common sense to figure out that the tub attached to Bane's neck is feeding him strength. Don't forget Spidey's superstrength either, in a lot of the Spidey comics he's always commenting on holding back because he doesnt want to really hurt anybody
